Prologue

"The stars are not wanted now: put out every one;

Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;

Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood.

For nothing now can ever come to any good."

-Stop All The Clocks, W.H. Auden.

Let's recap shall we?

Well here goes.

We've got Scarlett Moreau. The heroine. The one who can set fire to her palms and scorch a mans fingerprints clean off. The one who loves with her whole heart, the one who feels entitled to the information she needs to save the day.

We've got her boyfriend, Chase Thomas. The man who fights with fear and attacks you with your worst enemy. Your mind. His best friend Creed, the girl with blue hair and the tragic past. She hides this past through humour and escaping into the thoughts of others.

Then on the opposite end of the spectrum we've got one Silver-Sky. The flightless bird. The acrobat/circus performer who wishes she was able to fly. Trapped in a torturous hell for six years, she has endured endless trials before finally being let out by her former best friend.

Ella Farqueson, the betrayer. The first best friend of both Scarlett and Silver. Ella Farqueson, the inventor of the torturous hell, pretended to be both girls' friend before eventually betraying them both to the Guild.

Next.

Scarlett, known as Lionheart to the Androids, was foiled in her attempt to rescue the leader of the prestigious sanctuary for gifted people known as SummerGlade. During the course of this, she was abducted -trying to rescue her friends and love interest from the clutches of the Guild.

The Guild has many secrets.

Two members of the Guild are; Dr. Victor Moreau -a champion of Gifted Elitism and six-time winner of the RowanGlade Circus championship for the strongest most powerful out of all gifted. The other man was Mr. Graham (Rustbone) North, a known psychopath that has survived throughout the years by continuously upgrading himself, and adding metal joints.

To top it all off, both of these men had secretly been stealing people off the streets, of both SummerGlade and the ordinary world, and tweaking their DNA, and switching vital appendages for metal parts. They were secretly building an army of Androids which was discovered and singlehandedly destroyed by the sisters Scarlett and Aria Moreau. Daughters of the infamous Dr. Moreau.

A deep secret that the Guild has been hiding for many years is the fact that these Androids were made by Ella Farqueson. The manipulating sleaze-ball that pretended to be Scarlett and Silver's friend, and they both had to find out the hard way how evil their 'friend' truly was.

Ella put Silver (Silly) in an invention of hers named Dreamshaker, one that slowly tortures you with your biggest dreams and crushes them with your worst fears, over and over until you've lost all will.

Silver had previously been trapped in Dreamshaker -with no means of escape- for seven years. She'd been considered mad before, but after this there's no telling what she'll do.

Scarlett was also put in Dreamshaker, not for seven years, but for five hours. She met Silver, and they talked for a while before Scarlett was eventually freed.

However Silver remained for a week after, until Ella Farqueson finally freed her from her chains. Silver swore revenge on Ella for betraying her and lying to her.

This is the story of that revenge.

Okay this prologue is more like a recap to remind everyone that Lionheart and Skyrider are connected by Ella (Dreamshaker). I hope it makes sense, because after this is the first chapter where our two lovely heroine's meet in person for the first time XD

Also quick question; who do you like more now that you've endured two books with them both? Sorel or Silly?

Stick around.
