Summer Glade as well, because I'd like to make sure you all know what she looks like.

(SCARLETT POV)

"Oh Scarlett, after you've finished classes meet me in the gardens, I have something to say." Silly pats my shoulder then pushes me towards the door everyone's leaving out of.

I bite my lip to keep from retorting, which I should have done before I opened my stupid mouth and maybe then I wouldn't have gotten my ass kicked and I wouldn't feel miserable right now. Ah hindsight, you really are a bitch.

Chase drapes his arm gently on my shoulder, "You doing okay?"

I grimace, "I need a shower, and to find a healer."

"I think Jamie's here somewhere, we'll go see if his power feels like working." Chase comments off-handedly.

I have no idea how but those two seem to be on okay terms now. They don't fight or say anything scathing to each other anymore, no that seems to be more Silly and I now rather than Chase and Jamie. I think like to think they talked it out, but it was probably more there was a massive and epic fight after which they made up.

It was nice for a bit, everyone was happy. Well, as happy as they can be in times like this.

I pause, this reminds me of something, "She said that her powers don't work sometimes. Like she can fly but only when it works."

He frowns, "That must suck, she could be flying one minute and crashing to the ground the next."

I tilt my head to the side, remembering the vision I had in Dreamshaker of her flying and laughing and then her hurtling towards the ground like a stone, "Yeah ... in fact she nearly landed on me."

He smirks, "That would've been funny."

"She nearly landed on my head, I could've broken my neck!"

He kisses my forehead, "There, all better now ... but what about her though, how far did she fall from?"

I pull away and think, "I didn't think much of it at the time, but it must've been nearly fifty feet. Then she got up -she was a bit shaky- but she seemed fine."

"I wonder if her power isn't just flying then, must be something in her bones or makeup that let's her heal faster. Quite handy really."

"Hmmm," leaning into him and listening to the over-excited class as we all walk up and out of the building to the dorms.

"That was the best lesson we've ever had."

"I can't believe that she beat Sorel four times! Sorel's our highest ranker!"

"It's gonna be hard work though."

"It's worth it if we actually learn something-"

"Yeah it used to be that the coach just put us in the ring and pit us against each other."

"But that's gonna change alright, I'm so psyched now!"

"For once we've got something to aim for."

My brow furrows, "Why does everyone else love her so much?" I murmur to Chase.

He grins, "We might be the senior class, but we haven't seen anything like that in a long time... and you've got to admit that it was awesome."

"Not from my point of view." I mutter, scowling at the floor and still smarting at what she'd told me.

It's not only all the things she told me about myself, it's the fact that I know she's right. I'm not a hero; I don't deserve to save anyone. But that knowledge doesn't stop me, it burns and smolders under my skin. It makes me want to prove myself; and that always ends badly. It's a vicious cycle.

Chase rubs my arm, "It'll be alright."

I pull away, "I have to head to my next class, History might help get my mind off it." I turn away, but then turn back in the last second, "Oh and I'm meeting Silly in the gardens after classes, come find me with Creed as well so we can see what she wants."

***

Silly is staring into space when we -Chase, Creed and I- arrive, she has blue overalls on with a white shirt underneath and no shoes on, no idea why that is but who am I to question the bitch. It's not as if she'll give me any answers if I did anyway. She has another mug of coffee in her hand, half empty.

As if she sees me staring, she turns and raises her eyebrows, "I said bring your friends, not an entourage."

I roll my eyes, still frustrated from the whole Arena fight, and cross my arms, "why did you ask me here? Was it to insult me again?"

Silly's not even phased, all she does is look at us like we're children and she's the only responsible adult in the building. With a sigh she looks up to the edge of the gardens, where the cliff drops and gives way to the beach on the right side of the institute, it's a very high ledge.

So why's she looking at it with longing?

With a frustrated huff she looks back at me, "Insulting you aside, Princess Jigglypuff, I'm here to tell you what you want to know."

"Wait what?" Was my eloquent response.

Luckily Chase brought his thinking cap, "what do you mean? We've literally been asking you where Summer Glade is for days, why are you all of a sudden telling us now?"

Silly takes a casual sip of her coffee, "Well, I'm confident in my ability to kick your asses in turn if you try to go out on your own, and if I tell you you'll stop harassing me."

"C'mon that's a bit-"

"Weeeell she does have a point."

"Who's side are you on, Creed?"

"The side of justice."

"If you cool kids are gonna keep arguing I can just leave..."

"NO!" All three of us shout in unison, making Silly stop on her way to ... the edge of the cliff?

She finishes her coffee and places the mug on the ground, "okay look, here's all I know; when I was escaping the facility that Ella used, I saw Summer Glade on the way out. She was getting pushed around by a chick with black hair and when I tried to get to her to help she told me to go."

"Black hair? Gotta be Amity."

"Most definitely..."

"Again with the gossip? God, you guys are worse than that T.V. show."

"ANYWAY, you do have specifics right? Like you could direct us to where we need to go?" Chase interrupts us before we can start arguing again.

Silly crosses her arms, "Yes I do have specifics -but not like; state, address, postcode- more along the lines of, turn right at that gas-station, chuck a left at that rock that looks like two walruses going at it. Understand?" She has the most evil grin on her face. And I understand why.

Now we know that if we do plan to go, that we have to bring her along to direct us, which was never the plan.

"You're an evil bitch you know that?" I tell her, probably twisting my face up so much that if the wind caught it it'd freeze like that.

She just grins again, "Yep."
