Me and Kathie are at the police station, waiting for Liam to return. Neither me nor Kathie have any words. She's probably silent because of the sadness that she was put through. And I'm silent because of the shame that I couldn't do anything.
"Yo" I hear from down the hallway, realizing that it's Liam. Wait why is your hair a different color?
"Yo" I simply respond before turning back to my phone. "So how'd it go?" I mutter, scared to hear the worst.
"Oh I need to pay their medical bills. Apparently I broke of those guy's noses. And I damaged some guy's liver. I don't remember hitting his liver though. I kicked his rib" Liam calmly explains as he sits down.
"Wait that's all? You need to pay their medical bills? You beat up five people and they're not even going to question wether you had weapons?" I say as I slightly lean towards him.
"Well they did. But I recorded the entire incident" Liam yawns as he stretches. Kathie looks up at him and I can see a sparkle of amazement. It's fair to say that I feel the same amazement. I don't even know how he pulled it off. It's the exact same as that one time.
"Wait- but video evidence isn't enough. You could also have simply picked a fight with them. Or that's what the police would say" Kathie says, trying to find the flaws in Liam's plan. "Oh yeah but I used a tape recorder too" Liam says as he flips a microphone looking thing in his hand. You pulled it off again. How do you even- I won't question it.
I look at Kathie who seems a bit uncomfortable. "Don't worry. I told the officers to only tell your parents if you give them consent" Liam says. Kathie looks up at Liam and looks down again. "T-thanks" she mutters.
This whole time I've been wondering how he prepared for this. Can he see the future? Is he just that good?
Kathie goes to talk with the officers and returns to us with a smile. "Hm? Why are you so happy?" Liam asks, totally knowing the answer. "N-nothing really" she mutters as she smiles into the book -which is covering her face-.
"Oh. You heard about their punishment" Liam yawns as he takes out his phone. "Y-Yeah" she mutters again. Liam smiles with a little chuckle, and writes something in a note on his phone. I try not to look but from the corner of my eye it says 'complete'. Mission complete? Come on that's really mediocre.
We walk Kathie home and Liam tells her parents a smart lie. Something about Liam getting lost and dragging us with him. It doesn't sound very believable, but he puts it so pristinely that you just have to believe it.
We walk back home and my mom looks at me with the 'Did you do it?' Eyes. Liam looks at her and says. "Don't worry, we simply went to Mc Donald's and got caught up in some trouble" he smiles. "Okay thank god" my mom laughs. "Come on in, I pre-heated the floor"

If heaven is real, I think we stole a bit of it. The floor is so nice, I couldn't help but take my shirt off and lay down on it. Liam did the same, but he kept his shirt on.
"So you dyed your hair today?" My mom asks as she types some stuff on the computer. "Yes actually, I dye my hair around the week" Liam laughs. "Oh but isn't that bad for your hair?" My dad asks, slightly mocking Liam for dying his hair. "Sorta is, but I have strong hair so it'll be fine" Liam yawns as he closes his eyes, with his arms spread on the floor.
My sister walks in, stares at me and Liam for a while and heads upstairs "make sure they don't fall asleep" she shouts from up the staircase. "Sure thing" My mom laughs.

Liam actually fell asleep, so we just put blankets on him and let him stay there for the night. My dad was laughing and my mom found it adorable. I thought he looked stupid but laughed with my dad. And my sister -being the odd ball that she is- questioned wether she should join Liam or not.
