Her eyes just couldn't stop examining his creations, and it felt as if her satisfaction wouldn't be fulfilled till she viewed every single one of them. After a while when she was done observing the ones in front she slowly walked to see the works at the back. Some of them were unfinished but there was one which caught her eye and made her gasp in sudden bewilderment.
There was a puppet lying away from the other puppets with long, pink hair just like hers. It had the rarest set of emerald-like eyes which were shining a little in the darkened room. Was it her?
Why? Why would he make a puppet that gave an impression of being just like her? Half of its body seemed to be complete but the face appeared to look as if it was finished.
The redhead read her thoughts and spoke up.
"I've worked on this piece for hours and hours... but something about the face seems incomplete. I'm never satisfied, that's why I never bother to finish the other parts of the puppet. The face, the most representative part of the body should be completely perfect."
The pinkette drank in all the information he gave. She couldn't understand. The face looked flawless, full of life though it was a lifeless puppet; it seemed like looking at her own very self."Oh, it looks totally fine to me... In fact, it's wonderful and completely admirable." Sakura marveled and stood there with a huge grin. "... but I don't see why you made a model of me..."
She wondered aloud and her grin changed into a confused expression. Sasori never wanted to show this to the pink haired girl for some reasons but since she already saw it... He had to come up with a reliable answer so, he spoke up.
"I was simply bored, and you seemed to be a nice individual whom I could use as an example, more of an inspiration or idea to create something. You looked... unique and all."A faint blush appeared on the pinkette's cheeks as she heard what the redhead just said. Was he complimenting her looks by creating a piece which represented her? Her blush darkened and she blinked.
"T-Thank you for making this, it's really good." She said and gave a soft smile while looking in the redhead's amber eyes. He felt a little happy at her remarks. Maybe, he could share his art with her.Only her...
'No, involving other people would only lead to problems and...'
"The thing you said about the puppet being incomplete... How exactly is it incomplete? Like the expression and all. It seems normally solemn, but obviously a little lifeless since it is lifeless. I don't think that really matters since it cannot be changed. You can't exactly copy a human from wood since what god creates is highly unique and it can't be created by a mere person... though this is really sublime and it makes me feel like looking at myself. I really love the eyes and how you did the curves of the jaw, along with the lips so perfectly. Just don't pressurize yourself I would say. I highly approve of this and consider it as flawless."
His auburn eyes glimmered and his lips parted at the long comment she made after that observation. So, the idea of sharing his thoughts and talent wasn't that bad.
"Thank you Sakura, this raised my hopes and determination of making more marionettes higher." He said and smiled a little.
"You're welcome!" She replied with a beam.
*.o*...*o'.
In a few minutes something struck Sakura in the head and she gasped in horror.
"Oh my god Sasori,I have to go back! It's so late since I've been here." She said while freaking out.
