MERRY CHRISTMAS! (i won't be celebrating it this year)

I woke up on yawning and I sat up slowly.

"Finally, you're awake." Finn smirked as he then continued watching what I realized now was a christmas movie.

"What time is it." I sat up scooting my legs to my chest.

Finn sighed and I couldn't tell if it was fake or real. "You missed christmas."

"What!?" I slightly shouted in disbelief. That means everyone is gone and I didn't get to open presents with them. We couldn't snuggled up in onesies.

"Hailey!" Finn shouted making me jump out my thoughts. "I was kidding." He says calmly.

I furrow my eyebrows and don't even reply. What a cruel man.

I got up and and walked into the kitchen where I saw the crew. I sighed in relief.

"Guys what time is it."

"It's 8 am, we woke up at 7. We set a alarm but you didn't wake up by it." Millie chuckled.

"Yeah! now we get to open presents!" Gaten yelled. Sadie took a sip out of her hot chocolate and then walked over back into the living room where Finn and I once were.

She criss-crossed her legs and sat by the tree. "What are you guys waiting for then?" She smiled excitedly.

We all ran over to the tree, picking up presents. 'This one is yours, Caleb!' 'Here Sadie this one is yours, OMG this is big, I bet millie and hails gave it to you.'

And if I were honest, this was the best christmas I've ever had.

It wasn't because I was with the Stranger things cast, or that my boyfriend was super hot. It was because this was better than getting a bike that you always wanted. The make-up product.

It was just seeing everyone smile, and smile and the presents I gave them. Everyone make jokes that aren't even funny, but we'd still laugh anyways.

Receive crazy gifts. 'A mustache, finn. Really?'

To think about it, is funny. I became friends with them because Sadie typed in her number wrong. And now we're closer than ever.

Finn hated me because he didn't want me to get famous off him. And now we're a couple? I would've never thought. Although, flirts were thrown everywhere.

If I ever lost them, I would ball up and die.

It was like a empty whole in my heart that I never knew was there.

What a cliche.

But really, I couldn't have asked for better family than this one. To meme faces, to hyping you up when you feel horrible, and embarrassing each other.

It's a unpopular fairytale. But it's one of the only fairytale that could actually come true. And sometimes it won't. Sometimes.

But maybe it would. Maybe if I was rude to them, I wouldn't be spending the christmas with the love of my life, my soulmate.

Maybe if I was rude to them, I wouldn't have friends that support me every type of way.

I could never cherish that, at least I thought. But I didn't. I didn't think of a texting thing turning into best friends.

I never thought about any of it.

Now, here I was, getting mustaches from everyone, and usally, I would hate it. But somehow I love it more than anything. Somehow.

——————————
'Hailey.' I hear Finn whisper. I turn my head to see him.

"Yes?" I pick up the last bit of wrapper and then walk towards him.

He doesn't say anything but hugs me tightly.

"Thank you for being you." He whispers in my arms. I swooned immediately.

"Thank you for not hating me forever." I joked making him chuckle.

"Okay!! As much as I LOVE failey we want some love to!" Millie yelled from a couple feet back.

I chuckled and released myself from Finn's arm and went to hug each of them.

When the boys went away to play games, Millie, Sadie and I sat outside on a bench, drinking out hot cocoa in the cold.

"Thank you for being my friend." Sadie spoke. "Same." Millie smiled.

I snuggled into both of them, somehow. "Thank you—more." I chuckled.

The door busted open, making a loud noise. But we didn't jump, we knew exactly who it was.

"Chocolate big daddy in the house!"

We laughed and then scoot over for them to fill in the spaces.

Finn, of course, snuggled close by me and kissed my head softly.

"Merry Christmas darling. I love you. I can't wait to see the rest of the world with you."

THE END.
