Ajani's POV

I can't believe we're in the same class!, I said to myself. After I said that, I felt someone patting me on the shoulder. It was her.

"Hello, I'm Christina." She said to me.

" I'm A.. A.. Ajani." I said feeling nervous but at the same time happy.

"May I please sit beside you?"

Oh my gosh. She asked to sit beside me. Answer dumbass.

"S.. S.. Sure." I said giving a nervous smile.

"Thanks" She replied looking strangely at me.

"Y.. Yeah." I replied.

Stupid. Now she think you're crazy. Great job Ajani.

Christina's POV

I said bye to Shemar and was off with Tania.

"Do you think what Shemar said is true?" I asked out of the blues.

"About what ? "I heard Tania ask.

"About what's his name again, Ajabi,Anjadi?" I asked.

"You mean Ajani." She asked.

"Damn. How do you remember his name?" I asked curiously, "Do you  like him?"

"What. No!!!. It was three minutes ago." She replied angrily, "And I think Shemar is telling  the truth because that boy looks at you so dreamily" She said.

"Stop it Tania." I said and I could feel my face turning red.

"Anyways....... here's our Math class." I said.

As we stepped in the class, I saw him, Ajani, staring right at me.I was turning red.I was snapped out of my thoughts by someone hitting me on the arm.it was Tania

"Go sit beside him" She said in my ears. I wanted to sit beside her but I did as she said.

"Hello, I'm Christina." I said to him.

"I'm A.. A.. Ajani." He replied. I could see that he was nervous.

"May I please sit beside you?" I asked politely.

"S.. S.. Sure." He replied giving me a smile.

"Thanks"

"Y.. Yeah"

I started looking at him strangely but then I sat. When I glanced over, I saw Tania sitting beside a boy by the name of Jaheem. I knew him from grade seven. I did not like him because he is too overconfident and he calls almost everyone 'nigga', 'fool' and 'bitch'.I saw him waving at me but  I just ignored him and began the work.
