The Great Mistake

Chapter 2

Ajani's POV

I came out of the car, went to where my new class was and sat down and began eating. I was the only person in the class. This normally happens every time I'm     going in a new class. I always go early so when I walk in, no one will be staring at me. I have this feeling in my guts that this year is going to be better.As I said that, I saw alot of kids coming in. The sight of this made me nervous.

"Hey Ajani, what's up man." I heard someone say. I was surprised at that voice.

"What's up Rajiay", I replied.

"Nothing man. You good?" He asked.

"Yeah why?" I asked

"Because when I saw you a while ago, you were in your own world."

"Okay.You got me. I was only saying that this year feels like its gonna be better than last year." I said.
"Yeah, more sexy chicks." He replied.

"No! Not like that. It just feels...... special."I said

"Are you getting soft man!" He said.

"Just shut up! " I shouted.

After I shouted at him, everyone started looking at me. I was snapped out of my thoughts when an unfamiliar voice said

"Hi I'm Shemar."

"Hi I'm Ajani. Nice to meet you." I said politely."

Shemar's POV

"Just shut up!" I heard someone shouted. Everyone stared at the person. When I looked it was a very short, stout boy. I saw that he was scared so I quickly went over and said, "Hi I'm Shemar."

"Hi I'm Ajani.Nice to meet you." He replied politely.

"So Ajani, which grade seven are you from?" I said trying to start a conversation.

"Grade seven 'A'." He replied.

Suddenly his attention was to the door. When I looked where he was looking, I saw who he was looking at.

"Christina!!!" I yelled

She turned to where I was and shouted, "Shemar! I missed you! "

"I missed you too." I said and then we hugged.

I could see that Ajani liked her and when he saw me hugging her I knew what he was thinking.

"Don't worry. She's my best friend." I said.

I saw him looking at me surprised. I knew he did not think I'll figure out. When she went and sat beside me, I went where he was and said, "So, you like my best friend right?" I said.

"How did you know?" He asked surprised.

"I'm an expert on these thing. I bring people together and bring people apart. I'm like a pastor." I said confidently.

"Oh really.How much do you charge because she's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen.   " He asked.

"Since you're a friend its free."

"Hey Shemar." A familiar voice said.

"Tania!!!" I screamed. Tania is my second best friend. We are coming from the same grade seven.

"Wzup. Everything good." She asked.

"Now that you're here, yeah." Then she saw Christina. They started to talk to Ajani. I saw him looking at Tania.

"Only one of them." I said while laughing. He started to growl.

"Are you a dog?" I said humorously.

"Okay. Its math time. I have Ms. Henry. Who do you have?" I asked.

"Ms. Tappin." He  replied. I went to Christina and Tania and asked the same question. They both had Ms. Tapping too.

"Well you're in class with Ajani." I said excitedly.

"Who's Ajani?" They both ask the same  time.

"Just a boy who likes Christina." Then I pointed at him.

"Likewise." I heard Tania mumbled.It's actually true. Every class Christina went in, a boy liked her. In grade seven, two boys, Rhyon and Nathan, liked her. So after that, we all went to class.

Guys, this is a true story that happened in my classroom between the persons I'm writing about.
