Victoria's mother runs after the two girls walking down the narrow dark hall way. She grabs Scarlett's wing and she let's out a little yelp in pain
"Who the hell are you?" She spat.
Victoria jumps between them,"she is my friend."
Her mother glares at them. Victoria suddenly felt a stinging sensation on her cheek. Her porcelain skin now had a red mark on her jaw. Scarlett grabs Victoria and bolts down the hall. Tears roll down her face.
"What is wrong with having you around?"
Scarlett shrugs her shoulders. Victoria digs in her closet and grabs a giant suitcase. She starts shoving all of her clothes and toys in it.
"What are you doing?" Scarlet asks tilting her head.
"I am leaving." She huffs, "there is an old palace I used to play in but my dad kept me from it since it was falling appart."
Scarlett helps pack stuff into the suitcase. They both start to drag the stuffed case through the hall. Her dad was standing there with a red glow in his eyes.
"Where do you think you're going young lady?" He asks without moving his eyes.
"Away."
He looks at her and notices the red mark on her face. Without a word he walks away. The girls jump into a carriage and get whisked away. Victoria looks out the window and sees the whole town shrink as they go into the sky. Victoria wakes up to Scarlett pushing her.
"Wake up!" She yells, "we are here...I think."
She shoots up and sees the decaying castle sitting there. It was merged into a mountain with a waterfall going down the side of it. Victoria jumps out and runs accross the old bridge. A slab of wood falls as she runs over it. Scarlett shuffles accross clinging onto the rusty rail. Victoria digs through the suitcase and grabs a small scythe. Scarlett finally makes it accross the bridge and Victoria fixes it with a single thought. Scarlett looks at Victoria and glares.
"You could have done that sooner and I wouldn't have been scared for my life." She says sarcastically.
Victoria snickers as she marches to the doors. She pushes on the handle and the door falls to the floor creating a cloud of dust. They both cover their eyes and cough. They walk in and see the large staircase waiting to be used again. Scarlett runs to them and touches the railing. Victoria turns it into gold and the door rises showing the oak and iron details as it gets fixed onto the frame. She turns to the shattered chandelier on the floor and waves her scythe over it. It rises and all the shattered glass merges together and forms onto the golden chandelier and gets back onto the ceiling. Within seconds the whole castle returns to it's former glory.
