Everyone in the temple were jumping up and down. Why? Christmas.

I don't understand the thing in spend a lot of money on presents, kill a tree, and pretend an old man named Santa would come.As you might understand, I don't like christmas. It's like a birthday, totally pointless. So guess what I did to avoid it? Locked in myself in my room, with a pizza, holopad, soda and chips. A few people tried to get me out, only to hear from Obi-Wan that I probably wouldn't change my mind. Which was right, I wasn't.

After several failed attemptes to meditate, I looked over on my small desk, and saw the necklass my dad gave me. It was black, with two silver birds in a wreath. I rose to my feet, walked over and picked it up. I studied it for a short amount of time, before putting it down. It was a bit too painful to see it.

{flashback}

I was only three years old, on my homeplanet Korriban. I sat on my room, trying my hardest to solve the math problem he gave me.

All of the sudden, the door knocked, and one of my father's favorite droids strolled in.

"Your master have something for you." it said, giving me the beautiful necklass.

"Thank you!" I said, putting it on immedietly. "By the way, I heard some of the people in the town speaking of something called "christmas", do you know what th-"

I was cut off with a hard droid hand slapping me across my face.

"Don't DARE say that again! Your master thinks it's a big waste of money and time, and remember that! Things could get worse!" it threatend, before strolling out.

I held my aching face for a moment, before starting to cry in both shock and in pain.

{end of flashback}

I shivered at the memory. I couldn't look the same at the droid after that. I was afraid of it. You may think it disappeard when I became a jedi two and a half year later, but nope. Still there. But who cares? I've never celebrated it once, but from what I've heard of it it disgust me.

My door knocked again.

"Ano?"

Anakin. Of course my master couldn't stop him.

"Yeah?" I said.

"May I come in?"

"Why?"

"Because it's boring to talk to a door."

I sighted, walked over the room and opened the door.

"Thank you." he said.

"Please just get straight to the point." I said, and sat down on my bed.

"As you wish." he said, and sat down next to me. "I just wonder why you hate christmas so much, and refuse to celebrate it with us?"

I sighted again.

"First of all, I don't like christmas because... when I was three, a droid hit me when I mentiond it, and asked what it was. Second, I got to know about it more when I was older, and didn't like what everyone told me we celebrated. A guy named Santa, killing and decorating a tree, and give presents for no reason."

"Wait wait wait, what? You got HIT by a droid for ASKING??" Anakin said.

I nodded.

"And for that you were scared?"

I nodded again.

"It told me it would do worse." I whispered. "I was only three, of course I was scared!"

He held up his hand in defense.

"I didn't mean any harm, but have anyone ever told you what christmas was REALLY about?" he asked.

"Um... the things I just said?" I guessed.

"Nope, christmas is about spending time with your friends and family." he said.

"My real family were killed ages ago..." I mumled/whispered.

I felt a hand on my shoulder, and looked up to see Anakin's smiling face.

"WE, are your family, Ano. And I'm pretty sure nothing is going to change that." he told me.

I smiled, and hugged him hard, and he hugged back. When we pulled apart, I walked over to my desk, and picked up my necklass. I studied it for a bit, before turning back and handing him it.

"This is one of the last things I have of my father. I want you to have it." I said, and it truly meant deeply for me.

He smiled wide and me, took it and put it on. Then he smirked a bit.

"There's the christmas spirit! C'mon!" he said, and dragged me out of my room, and out where the others where waiting, and I had both the first and best christmas of my life.
