I've made so many mistakes in my life but one I'll never forget was letting them take away my family.

*Flashback*

A little fairy is fluttering her wings trying to fly like her parents and sister. She rises slowly but falls back down to the ground.

"Mommy! I can't fly!" the little girl cried in despair. Hot tears rolled down her chubby cheeks.

"It's ok sweetheart. You just need patience and a good attitude. Now how about we wipe off those tears of yours and you can show me your biggest smile. Yeah?" the mother soothed her daughter. She was very caring to most other fairies around the town. Her daughter nodded and smiled a smile that would make even the coldest heart melt.

*a few years later*

A beautiful teen was panting from exhaustion. She wouldn't back down from the fight though. She glared at the person she once called family as they smiled psychotically at her. Her parents were also confused as how someone so close could betray them like this.

"Why are you doing this?!?!? What do you gain from all the pain you've caused?!?!? What?!?!?" the girl screamed. She would never forgive them for this but she still wants to know what drove them to this point.

"You don't know? YOU DON'T KNOW?!?!? It's BECAUSE of YOU! You know what you did so stop acting innocent and tell them the truth!!!" they screamed in pure rage. After glaring at the girl they calmed down and held their sword. They caressed their bloodied sword as if it was their love.

"I'm saving these people from enduring the pain you caused me. Although I had to get rid of the few who were blinded by your 'kindness'. Such a shame really." she said in such a condescending tone you'd think she was talking to a child. The girl and her parents were horrified at this sentence.

"Now. Time to end you once and for all," she said before running at the girl with her sword. The girl defended herself and retaliated with just as much force. The only things the parents could hear were the breathes and grunts of the two people and the occasional clang of a sword. They managed to slip into the shadows and the girl was trying to find them though the pitch black night. The girl had enough and took out a gun and shot at a shadow that was moving. She was then tackled to the ground by them holding their sword to her throat.

"Never thought you had it in you to kill her but apparently you're just full of surprises aren't you?" she was confused by their words, but once she realized who was holding her down she panicked.

"No. No. No no no no no no!!!!" she managed to wriggle out of the person's grasp and ran to where she shot. What she saw was horrifying to her and her father. There lying on the ground with blood oozing from her head was her mother. She went to see if her mother was truly dead when someone forcefully slapped her hands away.

"Stay AWAY from her!!!!! You..... you MONSTER!!!!!!!!!!" screamed her father with hatred burning in his tear filled eyes. She went to apologize. To explain that she didn't know but her father wouldn't hear any of it.

"They're right about you. All you do is cause pain. I wish you'd never been BORN!!!!!" with those final words she backed away and ran off knowing this would be the last time she saw them. For now.
