Katherine and Elena are both pregnant. Which means Stefan and Damon can't seem to catch a break. Both girls are lying on the couch with their legs propped up on the ottoman. "Drink this, it'll help with the congestion." Stefan hands Elena hot tea. "Damon!" Katherine yells at him. "What?" He walks over to her. "I'm hungry." She whines and he rolls his eyes. "Ok. What do you want?" He asks looking down. "Chocolate chip, snickerdoodles, black and whites, sugar cookies," Damon gets up. "I'm not finished." She pouts. "Ok what else?" Damon asks kneeling down. "Ow, my back!" Elena complains. Stefan puts a heating pad behind her as well as rubbing her back. "Potato chips, the ruffle ones. Ooh sour cream and onion. Make sure you get the biggest bag." Katherine explains. "Damon I want chips too. I really like the sour cream and onion too." Elena begs. "Sure." He gives a fake smile. "Anything else?" Damon asks. "Fruit and lots of it! Thanks sweetie." Katherine turns and leans her head against Elena's. "Stef, let's go." Damon says annoyed. "No!" They whine simultaneously. "We need him here. What if I need more tea?" Elena asks. "What if I need to go pee?" Katherine asks. "Katherine, I'm not letting Stefan help you with that." Damon says seriously. "But Damon!" She grips his hand tightly. "Honey tell me you'll stay with us?" Elena pleads to Stefan. "Ok. I will help as much as I can. Don't worry Damon, I won't touch her. I wouldn't anyway." Stefan tells him. "Ok. I shouldn't be too long. Bye." He speeds out.
Elena gets up, using the arm of the couch to support her. "Where you going Lena?" Stefan speeds up to her side. "I want peanut butter." She walks into the kitchen. Katherine's further along in her pregnant than Elena. "I need help up." Katherine reaches for Stefan. "I got you, I'm here." He pulls her up. "No!" Elena cries. Stefan helps Katherine into the kitchen. "I'll text Damon to get more." He pulls out his phone to tell Damon to get a jar of peanut butter. "I wanna go outside." Katherine grabs Elena's hand, and they hobble to the garden. "Wait." Stefan catches up to them and Damon calls. "Yeah?" Stefan takes a hold of Katherine as Elena sits down. "Peanut butter?" Damon scoffs. "I'll pay you back for this trip. Just get the food and come home. I can't keep track of them both!" Stefan yells quietly and hangs up. "This is nice." Elena says as Katherine turns and walks back inside. "Ok we're going inside?" Stefan asks no one in particular. "No I want to stay outside." Elena rubs her belly. "I'm going in to sleep." Katherine says. "Let me help you. I'll be right back." He helps Katherine make her way to the couch. He throws a blanket over her and supports her back. "Stefan?" Elena shouts from outside. He speeds back to the garden area. "Yes, what's wrong?" He sits beside her. "I'm cold and my hands are shaking." Stefan wraps his arm around Elena and they walk back inside to the living room. Katherine's passed out, snoring. Stefan sits on the couch next to Elena. He grabs a blanket and covers her body.
"Wait. Where'd Damon go?" Elena asks, looking over at Katherine. "He'll be back soon." Stefan hears the car locking. "That's him." Damon walks through the door with two grocery bags. "Katherine!" He yells, but she continues to sleep. "I got your cookies." Damon throws the boxes at Katherine. "Here!" Damon throws them at her, but Stefan's there to catch them. "Finally." Elena rips them open and Katherine wakes up. "I'm gonna vervain that bastard. Ooh cookies!" She reaches into the bag. "Damon, the sour cream and onion dip?" Katherine asks. "Coming." He comes inside and opens it for her. "Can you rub my feet?" She asks. Damon looks over to at his brother. Stefan picks up a chip and feeds it to Elena. "Why can't you do that for me?" Katherine complains. Damon rolls his eyes and gets up. "Who are you calling?" Stefan asks. "Little Gilbert. Jeremy, can you come over to take care of Katherine? She's getting on my damn nerves." "I heard that!" Katherine yells. "Easy." Stefan reaches over and reaches for her hand. "Jeremy's coming over to take care of you." Damon says and grabs his keys. "And where are you going? We have an ultrasound at 4." Katherine tells him. "Katherine, I haven't been to work in weeks." She rolls her eyes. "It's been three days." She gives him a look. "Damon, just promise you'll be there?" Katherine asks him. "What's wrong?" Stefan asks. "I have to go to the bathroom." Elena says struggling to get up. "I'm coming. Damon, are you going out or what?" Stefan asks supporting Elena. "Why?" Damon scoffs. "Because someone needs to keep an eye on Katherine. What if she needs help?" Damon rolls his eyes. "You're a doctor. Figure it out." He speeds out of the house and drives off. "I'll be fine. You'll know when I need help." Katherine sighs. Stefan helps Elena up the steps. Elena and Stefan come back to the living room. "Hey girl." Katherine says and reaches into the bag of chips. "Hey." Elena says reaching for her sisters hand. Stefan gets up and moves their couches together. "I love you." Elena smiles and pecks him on the cheek.
Stefan sits down between them, and closes his eyes. About an hour later, Damon walks through the door. "Stef, hey! Hero hair... man he's really conked out." Damon walks into the parlour room to pour himself some bourbon.
