New gemsona! Her name is Spessartite Garnet or Spazz for short.
Spessartite Garnet was a middle-class gem in Yellow Diamond's court. She was always very spunky and rebellious, but not to the point of rebellion itself. She never thought it would get to the point of her being recruited to the Prime Kindergarten on Earth. She worked there for a while, but during the war, she was left behind to die by the others. Living there was hard, but she learned to adjust from her past life as a Homeworld citizen.
Years later, she heard voices. She was wary but curious. Her curiosity led her to find the Crystal Gems many years after they had settled on Earth. Spazz took a big liking to the tall, dark woman standing above them all. Being still young and eager, she jumped out and declared her interest in the gem. Surprised, the gems observed her for many hours before the small human asked if she could live with them. Now she lives with the Crystal Gems under the nickname Spazz. Her mother figure and idol remain to be Garnet, and Spazz had no problem adjusting to life on Earth.
Other things: She fights with brass knuckles She's basically a smaller, angrier version of Garnet She has a strange fascination with human outfits (hence her overalls and sneakers) She's quick to rage and has a very short temper. Call her small and she will destroy you.
