You were having a big get together for all your YouTuber friends at your house (You are a YouTuber as well). Christmas was close so basically it was a Christmas party. People like Gabbie Hanna, Ricky Dillon, Vanessa and Veronica Merrel, Brooklyn and Bailey McKnight, and Collins Key with his brother Devan.
Everyone was talking with someone except you. You just liked seeing other people happy. You stood under an arch in your living room looking at the good spirits around you. A little smirk on your face proud of yourself for putting something like this together.
"Hey," A masculine voice said, breaking you out of your trance.
You snapped your head toward the suspect, his bright blue eyes staring into yours. Your smirk turned into a small flattering smile. A few strands of your h/l, h/c hair fell into your face. "Hey," you say.
"I've just gotta say, y/n, thanks so much for inviting me and Devan. You did an amazing job of organizing this," he complimented you.
"Well, Collins, I'm glad you two are having fun," you say.
He shrugged, "I mean I'm just glad I got to see you."
You turn more toward him to face him completely with a surprised look on your face, "Collins Joseph Key, are you flirting with me?"
He looked down and touched his hand to the back of his neck, "Maybe a little."
That's when Gabbie came over and said something you would never forget, "Hey, you two, look up." she pointed up as she said that.
You and Collins look up in unison. There pinned on the peak of the arch was a small bow holding a little bunch of leaves with white berries attached.
Gabbie skipped away as if she were a child and found where her parents hide the candy.
Collins' face turned bright red and he chuckled nervously. You start smirking again and lift yourself on your tiptoes to kiss his cheek. He turned more red, if possible.
"Boo! Kiss her for real!" Someone shouted. Turns out it was Devan. Of course it was Devan. He'll most likely tease Collins about it.
You look down at your feet and chuckle, thinking Collins would be too shy to kiss you. But when Collins tilted your head up with his index finger, tucked those few strands of hair behind your ear, and leaned in, you felt as though your heart skipped a beat.
Sadly, almost as quick as your lips touched they separated due to hooting and cheering. You both were too shy for that.
You walk away from the tomato that is Collins and join the Merrel twins in a conversation. Of course they wanted to talk about what just happened. You were pretty open to it, it's not like you and Collins were a thing.
Meanwhile Collins stood next to his brother, silent because of what just happened.
*A Few Hours Later*
Most everyone had cleared out, of course except your beloved Key bros. You were talking with them about maybe doing a few collabs together.
Devan patted his brothers back, "I'm gonna go start the car, Bro. Thanks so much, y/n, I had a lot of fun!"
You hugged Devan and said, "Thanks for coming!"
Devan exited the house and left you alone with Collins. "So, that uh, that moment?" He stuttered.
"Moment?" You asked.
He nodded, "That moment that happened, between us... it wasn't just me that felt something, right?"
"Oh uh, definitely not," you answered.
His blue eyes lit up with happiness, "Great, so I was wondering. Maybe you'd wanna, go out with me sometime? I mean only if you want to because you don't have to," He said quickly.
"I'll uh, I'll think about it," you paused for a few seconds, "Pick me up Saturday at 7?"
His face grew an adorable smile that only he could pull off, "Yeah! Yeah that works for me!"
"Great!" You say.
"Anyway, Devan's waiting," he said stepping back, "Thanks for everything," he stepped back again. His back collided with the wall behind him.
You couldn't help but laugh, "By Collins."
He straightened himself out and left the door the correct way, "See ya!"
