Fluffy Powder

White fluffy powder grazes the ground.
Everyone one is asleep all around.
For it is midnight here.
Now officially someone's birthday.
A day to celebrate with love and cheer.
Yet we give presents to one each other and ourselves.
Not them.
They like it better that way.
Give to others not them.
For they are long gone.

So enjoy the fluffy snow falling in your hair.
It covers the roads and stick everywhere.
Watch the kids build snowmen and get bitter frost bite.
Curl up by the fire with a book and a blanket.
Laugh with friends on these two weeks off.
It might not last long.

Even if you don't know what I'm referring too.
But I bet you do.
Share and care.
It's a time to give.
And love.
Love is the greatest gift to give.
And that person who's birthday it is today.
Would want it that way.

This was more poem like. It is 12:17 am where I live and it's Christmas morning. So I'm sitting on my couch watching snow fall. Merry Christmas everyone!
