I definitely did not invent this idea but I tweaked a few things
But how about a story where...
An omega is being abused by the alpha
He's screaming all these insults and saying how much he hates her, saying she'll never have a mate and that if she did, her mate would no doubt reject her
Anyway, sun comes up as he's throwing punches. And she smells an amazing smell
Alpha immediately stops punching and is hugging her
Chains are removed.
He keeps apologising and she begins to cry
He's tells her not to cry, as it makes him upset, and she immediately sobers up and apologises. Then gets up and asks what jobs she can do blah blah. Then Have him earning her trust. Pack does beat her and insults her as that was the norm. And then he gets angry at them, beats them. Scares her
Something like that....
