I walk on the white sands and stop at the line where the sea can't reach my bared feet. The cold air hugs me tight as well as my hands to the sunflowers.
I've always wanted to come here. But this thing always stops me from coming.
I sit on the sands not minding them hurting my butt a little.
I break the stem of the sunflowers and leave the flower itself. I put them on the sea one by one with a careful hand thinking they might drown. Until all of them are now floating away from me.
I heave a sigh and smile. I'm glad. I think I can now sleep well and can function well, I guess.
"Huy Craea! Nandito ka lang palang bruha ka!" Allhea shouted.
I face her. "Sorry di ako nakapagpaalam." And smiles.
Tiningnan nya ang likod ko at bumuntong hininga.
"Oh sige tara na, ma lalate na tayo sa byahe. " at tininangay na nya ako papunta sa sasakyan nya.
"Hinay hinay lang lhea! Ang sakit ng paa ko."
"Kasalanan ko ba na hindi ka nag sandals o nag tsinelas man lang?" At binitiwan ang kamay ko at nauna na syang naglakad.
Tinignan ko muli ang dagat. Beautiful and peaceful as always.
"Ano ba? Sasakay ka o hindi?" Pagalit nyang sigaw sakin.
"Eto na po. Sasakay na." Natawa nalang ako sakanya.
