Hawaiian words:

Lolo: stupid

Aggro: bad

Aznuts: crazy

Brudda: brother/best friend

Tutu: Grandma

As the boys and the girls celebrate in the front of the bus, I’m in the room, by myself on my laptop, however, I’m not completely alone when I’m on Skype with Lailani.

“Another all-nighter, Lani? You’re seriously aznuts!” I giggle.

“I can’t sleep again, you know how it is, Lei,” she said sighing, tossing her long jet black hair across her shoulder.

“How’s Tutu?” I said worriedly.

“She’s doing fine; she misses you a lot, and doesn’t stop talking about your triumphs and how you’re just like your mom. Wait ‘til she sees that interview tomorrow!” She quietly squeals, “That encounter with the fans was aggro, huh?”

“Yeah it was, but Zayn literally jumped and saved me.”

“Brudda, if I didn’t think any better he so—“

“Don’t said it…”

“Lorelei Pele Higgins, he likes you, stop being so lolo!”

“Excuse me; I’m not the one staying up at 2am!”

“Knock, knock,” Zayn said.

“Is that him? Omg! Lei!”

I sigh heavily, “I’ll talk to you later Lani…”

“Okay, have fun Lei, aloha.”

“Aloha Lani<3”

“Come in,” I said as I shut off my laptop, sitting on the couch watching flashes of green past me.

He opens the door; my heart starts to race as he slowly steps in the room.

“Hey there,” He smiles widely.

“Hey, howzit?” I said with my normal Hawaiian slang.

“It’s going good, you alright?”

“Yeah, a lot better now, I wanted to said thanks for earlier, I really appreciate it,”

“No problem, mind if I sit next to you?” He asked, biting his lower lip nervously.

“Yeah, go ahead!” I flash a confident smile to him as he sits.

“So, I hear you’re called the Hawaiian Wild Child, that’s what Paul tells us of course, want to explain that?” he asked playfully nudging me.

“I’m normally loud and obnoxious and I tend to blast music, but right now is just my mellow moment just trying to settle into a new atmosphere,” I reply.

“Well, you may have just met your match,” He winks.

“Oh really?”

“Yes.”

“Do tell, Mr. Zayn Malik of One Direction!”

“That’s the Bradford Bad Boy to you, miss Hawaiian Wild Child.”

“Oh, well, well, don’t flatter yourself baby cakes, you may ride the roller coaster called life, but I’ve ridden the Hawaiian roller coaster,” I smile.
