Chapter Four

I saw their eyes darken.

Oh no.

"If you want I can stop." I said

"No, continue."

"My parents wanted a boy as their first child and when my mom found out she was pregnant she was overjoyed and what made it worse was that the doctor told her she was having a boy, so when she gave birth and saw I was a girl they were distraught. My mom and dad always left a maid to take care of me. When I turned four she moved my bed to the basement and I started doing all the chores. Every time I did something wrong she would beat me with a cow whip and my dad would just stand there and not do anything. She eventually got pregnant again when I turned five and she got a boy. They ignored me even more. The baby got all of everything and all I got was countless slaps, whips, and chores. I wasn't allowed to date and I had to learn taikwando to protect my brother. I remembered one time I raised my hand in defense from a slap and I was thrown down the stairs. I broke three ribs and an ar-"

I was cut off when they pulled me into their embrace and kyle started wiping tears off of my face. It was then I realized I was crying.

"Sweety you don't have to continue if it hurts to speak about" Stone said.

"Its OK. When my brother started junior high I was a 2nd year student that was like a wall in the school while he became the school jock. He spread the stories of my life at home and the bullying started at school from then. My locker and table would be vandalized every time I cleaned it. I became the punching bag of the cheer leading squad and mop for the football team. For 6 years I endured it. When I graduated from high school I moved out if my parents house and moved to a small apartment right outside the forest. I got a job and I moved on with my life. Until someone grabbed me and I woke up in a cell. End of story" I smiled at them but you could tell that they wanted to kill somebody.

They just hugged me tighter and I swore I saw them wipe tears from their eyes.

Stone's P.O.V

The thoughts that were running through my head weren't pretty at all.

How dare they treat my mate that way.

I was trying so hard to contain my anger that it turned to sadness. I quickly brushed away the tear that slid down my face.

Kyle spoke to Anna just in time to break the silence.

"This us your new home and you will be safe here always. In all there are seven of us living in this house. Stone, Christian, Christopher, Lizzy, Tasha, Tris and myself and now you have become a member of this family. Christian and Christopher are twins, Christian is married to Lizzy and they have a three year old daughter, Tris. Christopher and Christian are our cousins and Tasha moved in with us after her house burned down. They are currently not here but you'll meet them later. Now............. Do you trust us? He said.

She look puzzled.

"In order to protect you there us something we need to do and we are bit doing it without your permission. So we're asking if you trust us." I said.

It took a while but she finally nodded giving us her approval.

After this there is no going back and we will make sure that she finally accepts us and we're able to love her without any faults or regrets.

It was 11:30 when she gave us her approval that she trusted us.

"Let's begin" Kyle said.

"Begin what?" She asked.

I smiled.

"Begin marking what's ours".
