A knock on the door pulled me out of my thought. Ally walks in holding 3 dresses in her arm and lays them across my bed.

"Ally, I spoke with a question in my voice, you never did tell me what happened to your brother?" Ally looks at me and says he was sent away to live with my aunt and uncle. But anyways Ally replies, "Look what I got for you as she holds the dress to her body. I frowned " that's a no I'm not wearing that what am I advertising? "Okay never fear" she holds up the other two dresses. I shack my head "I'm still not impressed "I tell her "Trust me babe" Ally sits beside on the bed "this will be a night you'll never forget."

I stood in the full length mirror looking at the dress. It was tight and reviling "Ally I don't think I like dress turning to look at my back side, ally stood beside me looking at herself in the mirror, "you said that about the last two dresses, you look hot so stop worrying, she tells me running her hands through her now curly hair. Taking her word for it, I unsurely take one last look at myself before we leave.
"My hills caught the dress, thankful Ally was there to catch me before I hit the payment. "Ugh", I respond these dang hills are going to make me break my neck." "Would you shut up already," Ally laughed, "when we get to the car take them off it's so simple.
Ally unlocks the door for me; I take my seat next to her and slid off the tight heels, ahh such a relief. "Ally you know that I'm not use to this" I tell her. Putting on her shades without giving me a second thought she smirks you'll live, and drives off. As we head down the road I notice the difference in our attire. Wait, she has to have a change of clothes in here. I glance around the small Honda but find nothing. "Ally how come you're wearing pants and I have to wear a dress," I ask? She looks over at me and smiles, but says nothing. I have this sick feeling something bad is about to happen.
15 minutes later we arrived at the party it was packed; cars were parked any and every kind of way. After circling the block 5 times we finally found a spot. Ally waited as I slide back on the throbbing heels are you ready she says with sarcasm. I nod my head and we head in. A girl with brown straight hair stood at the front door. She looked familiar, a huge smile spared across her face as she greeted us with a hug. I realize the girl is Megan Wright Carter's twin sister. Megan says to me "Wow this is a first. Who you dressed up for" I roll my eyes at her, "this is all Ally" I point my head in her direction. Changing the subject I ask so who's the party for. She looks at me and smiles, it's for one of Carters stupid friends, "well enough questions now she shooed us off "go and have fun" she says.
Ally and I walked in the house and it was huge. There were people everywhere on the dance floor and sofas in the kitchen in the hall ways standing on the walls there was even a line for the bathroom. Memo to myself, to use the bathroom before I leave home next time "This isn't how I expect it to be" I tell Ally leaning near her ear. She laughs and shakes her head "I'm going to go find Carter" she tells me "have fun" she then leaves me alone. I don't know what to do this is my first party. I felt stares in my back, as I turned around I saw a group of guys staring in my direction I wanted to wave and say hey. The girls looked at me in disgust. Hold on am I the only one in a dress a girl with blond hair walked passed "nice dress she said, I knew she was picking on me. Ain't nobody tells her to come out the house dressed like a Chico stick. She should have put more thought in to her wardrobe, Shacking the thought from my head I headed to the kitchen now where's that punch? I stood by the punch bowl dancing to the music when I felt some one grab my as* turning my head in their direction, I was two seconds from making a scene "easy there beautiful," I realized that voice. Justin I smile. His eyes grew wide in shock "Sylvia" you look good Justin give me a hug which I returned.
"Easy there baby girl" the name he called me ever since the first day we met. He let me go looking me up and down, "Looking good, but why in heavens name are you wearing a dress?" i gave him a really look.
"Ally" he said in realization, I let out a laugh that had people turning our way.
Justin grabs my hand leading me through people on the dance floor, "where are we going?" I ask him trying to keep up. "With you wear this dress I'm trying to keep myself out of jail. So I'm keeping an eye on you He says pulling me into a secluded area of the house. In the back corner I spotted Carter and Ally. Justin pulls me as they turn to look at us, Carters eyes widen in fear. "Ally what in the H*ll did you do?" he turns to her looking frustrated. "She looks good don't she, guys would be all over her before tonight end" she says lifting her drink to her lips.
"Ally are you drunk" Justin asked this time.
"NO.....Justin" Ally say, "I'm completely fine she slurs.
"Look she needs to loosen, up and have some fun ever since my brother broke her arm.
"It was an accident." Justin cut in.
You know for a fact that wasn't an accident. He snapped and pushed her out that swing!! it could of killed her. Carter you said it yourself she was a few inches from that stone which could have left her in a coma."
That's enough Carter snapped But they seem to no hear him, "he wasn't himself that day Ally and you know that we don't know why he snapped, "Justin says getting angry. That's no excuse for almost killing my best friend. Ally yelled.
"That's enough!!!!!!!!!" Carter yelled slamming his fist on the table this time making all of us jump.
Ally was now standing, "Sit" Carter demanded and she did.
Carter looked at Justin "I need to have a word with you," he said standing to walk out the room.
The guys made their way out the door; Ally yelled which scared me half to death. I looked at her as if she was crazy holding my beating heart, "this is my song girl she said holding the cup in her hand singing with the music. "Stand on the box, stump your feet start clapping, got a real good feeling something bad about to happen Oh....oh.....oh...oh... something bad about to happen. Ally eyes go wide as she stares at the door behind me. she leans in closer to me pointing towards the door and says "I got a real good feeling something bad about to happen."
