Emanuel's POV
Ok so it's the next day of school, and I'm going to try to speak to Lacey today. I walk out of my apartment which is really close to Carson high school.
I arrive at the school yard, where we have recess. Its free time before we start class.
I hear someone yelling my name
"Emanuel!"
I look around to see who it is, and it was my friends. Kennan and Carter were both there. I approach the both of them.
"Hey guys", I said.
"Hey Emanuel", Carter said.
"I have a question to ask you guys", I said
"Yeah? What is it?"
"Well, do you guys see that girl over there, with the blonde hair?"
"Yeah, she's beautiful, right?", Kennan asked.
"Yep, I'm thinking about talking to her." I said.
"Great! Good luck!" Carter said.
"Thanks", I replied.
I approached Lacey. And yes, I did primp myself before approaching her. I didn't want to look like a guy that's gone loco.
"Hey Lacey"
"Oh, hi Emanuel. I like your hair. Its really nice"
"Yeah, I get that a lot". I blushed at that comment, by the way.
I noticed a boy staring at the both of us talk to each other. It was really creepy. As soon as he noticed that I saw him, he looked away.
Weird, I thought.
After that its was time for class. Every time I talked to Lacey, that boy stared at me. I noticed he was in my class, but I never got his name. When we dismissed,
I walked home with everyone, including Lacey. It turns out, she lives nearby me. So that's a good thing.
I just hope that boy isn't jealous
