Meredith's POV
Hi. My name is Meredith Brooks. I am also a student of Carson High.
I have been noticing some strange things occurring with Emanuel. He seems to have been frustrated lately with something, and I don't want to ask. Maybe it's because of that Michael kid. Or problems between him and Lacey, but of course that can't be it. So It has to be because of Michael. I don't know what his problem is, getting all up in Emanuel's grill like that.
But, it is a monday, so I will try to ask him about it. Hopefully it's not too bad.
Shit, I'm late for school. I put on a shirt and some jeans, both blue. Along with some sneakers. I then pick up my bookbag, and as I walk by my front door, peeled a banana and ate it as I walk to school.
I arrive at the campus of Carson High as I see Emanuel walking towards the front door of the school. He looked frustrated about something, as usual.
I run towards the front entrance to try to catch up to him, but as I enter the school, he had already gone to the homeroom.
Well, guess I must talk to him later, I thought.

Lacey's POV
I see Emanuel walk inside the classroomm and take a seat, but he acted different. After he took his seat, I saw Meredith also walk inside, but she stopped at the doorway and looked like she wanted to talk to Emanuel, but couldn't. She turned to me and asked me something.
"Hey, do you know why Emanuel is acting like this? He seems frustrated about something."
"Nope, we saw each other yesterday, but he was happy yesterday. He didn't seem mad about anything yesterday. Do you have any idea what he is frustrated about?"
This doesn't sound good.
"I was going to ask him just now, but I couldn't catch up to him."

Emanuel's POV
What's wrong with them? They seem to be worried about something. Is it because of me? Have I been showing my frustration?
I'll tell you guys, but only you guys.
Another girl has come up, and she is a girl that I used to have a crush on. Her name is Bridgette. And I just realized she is moving to my neighborhood. And another thing, she has a crush on me. She used to be in my old school, until we graduated and had to go our own separate ways.
Now my mind is confused on what to do.
Should I start talking to Bridgette and risk getting Lacey jealous? I mean, we were the best of friends, so I have to rekindle that friendship, but then I'm risking something else happening. A kiss, or something a bit farther than that.
But then if I don't talk to her, a friendship that was inseparable will be shattered, and that's not good. But as I said before, something else might happen.
I'll talk to her, I mean, what could go wrong?
