An end. Another beginning.
A beginning. Unto another end.
It goes on. Over and over. The endless cycle.
Does it end? It begins anew. Did it begin? Then it shall end.
But whatever where time takes the cycle through...
It goes on..

(Somewhere else...)

"Surely you didn't plan this well enough, did you?"
"Where planning would take time, strength would take fights. But I've no need to plan nor fight when fate is on my side."
"Fate is ephemeral, as ephemeral as your so called world of dreams!"
"Ephemeral as much as absolute; where your strength falters, your will opposes what no mere human would dare understand."

( Back to present world)
I've been trying to understand the first fifty pages in 30 minutes (not a lot were written, either diagrams, drawings or chicken scratch) and it always feels like I cannot comprehend the words before me. "Ughh... this is a bit confusing and by a bit I mean I don't freaking understand anything!"

Once, an ancient seal was placed on what is hidden beyond the Cascade of  Arcs... a fearsome power that which the raging tempest itself protects lies sleeping somewhere ever closer...

"Seal huh? According to this,  something's hidden beyond that thing by the thunder peaks. Interesting...."

Yet almost too far-fetched were its secrets, that only the ever war-torn heavens above would remind of the Arc's true mystique...

"Well screw it! The only thing this piece of parchment prevents me from doing is finishing my darn book review!" I said as I almost slammed the crumbling paper on the study table. "Hey calm down a little, Lance." Said Ashley as she brings me a glass of water to calm me a little. That kinda cheered me up somehow.

Well, yeah; I have anger issues when it comes to reading books but cannot understand them- I kinda pity Ashley for having to put up with this pitiful side of me as much as Silver does.

Ashley kept nagging me to go to our house since it's early anyways so there's a lot of time to keep me company. That's nice... and yet a bit creepy too.

"Hey Lance! Have you heard the legends surrounding the big waterfall by the mountainside?" She asked me while I'm slurping my glass of water.
"I've heard some company tried to build qa dam there. For hydroelectric purposes I believe. The thing's got itself wrecked, though anything here at Lightning Fields could and WOULD get hit by lightning given the chance."

"Still... a bolt of lightning producing enough force to completely destroy a comcrete dam is just... absurd..." Ashley pondered as if she's in deep thought. "Sucks for them, building that thing under that crazy storm which appears for no reason every summer"

Yes, 15 years back someone wanted to build that dam on that waterfall since it would provide tons of power to the nearby locality plus it doesn't really vitiate the beauty of nature Lightning Fields cherish and preserve.

Open, beseech thee; the call of thunder!
Shatter the divine seal, of heaven's key of wonder;
Beyond the stones and the virulent storm...
I command, the seams of fantasy; unfold, unfurl, reform!

"It seems like some magic incantation. One you'd use as a password or something" I told Ashley as she listened intently to me as I read the Arc Grimorum to her. I turned my head and...

*Thump*

"Umph!" I fell from my seat as I bumped with Ash's forehead as soon as I turned my head. Clumsiness is going to be a real problem soon.

I couldn't open my eyes as my head is still hurting, but when I did; I realized my body was on top of Ashley's! Oh man what do I do? I've never been in this situation before!

"Hey umm Lance?" She gently called my name in a bit of a flustered tone, waking me up from my thoughts instantly. Darn it, why is my face so hot all of a sudden? "Can you... uhm... it's getting heavy and..." Her mesmerizing eyes are boring into mine, but then I realized I'm almost crushing her with my weight. "Oh, dang! Sorry." was all I can say as I quickly got up from our position. Such recovery.

For the next hour of me doing my literature assignment, awkward silence just ruled the room; with a few glances which we'd quickly avert if we caught each other's eyes. Darn it what's with her? Why did that thing earlier happen?

After I am done, she asked me if I could bring her to then nearest bus stop. I just silently nodded and we left at once.

"Well I guess I'd be going now." She said as she went down from the bike towards the bus stop. "Nice meeting you, Lance!" She waved goodbye to me before going inside the bus. She flashed her brightest smiles which I hafta admit was the nicest I've ever seen.

"Wait did I just think that? What's gotten over me?" I panicked within my head until a poke quickly snapped me out of it. "Yo, Lance. I've been calling you for over five minutes now from the other side of the road and you're acting a bit, strange." That emphasis on the word strange. When I turned, Silver was standing right there, eyeing me intently as he did with us like 5 hours ago.

"We should go home, Lance. You need some rest. I heard you crammed your homework again. No reading books for tonight, either go to bed or do not sleep at all for seven days" Wow Daddy's worked up today. "Oh sorry. I guess I just need some rest after all. Let's go Ver."

"The seams of fantasy.... reform..." I muttered as I fell asleep with those words teetering on my mind...

"What are YOU?"
"People tend to hold the answers, yet always they go looking beyond what their mortal eyes can perceive. My world of dreams, as you'd half-heartedly call it, would open your eyes to something-"
"Something WHAT?"
"Something you've always wanted to see..."
