(Someone else's POV...)
"It's been a while since I've been here Akane, I have to get back there and-" I complained as I couldn't dilly-dally myself in this backwater to death now, would I? "Uh-uh, not yet. One last Avatar is what we are waiting for as of now. He's currently playing around with Kairro upstairs-"She couldn't finish what she was saying when a bright light suddenly shone from a window. "Ahh!" Akane covered her eyes with both arms crossed as the blinding light filled the room. Footsteps would accompany the eerie wind blowing strangely yet audibly piercing what was once perfect silence.
This light... daylight? But it's midnight! As I tried taking a closer look... "A rift? A portal!" A figure in a garb seemingly touched by the sun stepped forward.
"So you are indeed here." That voice. No it isn't his voice but the manner in which all of them talks with is undoubtably present. "Worry not, old friend. In more stable and remote worlds such as this, ventriloquizing is a common symptom for a Path such as me." He seemingly answered my question as if he just read my mind. Is it his ability? His Paths often have an aspect which they adhere to, the major ones at least. And so are the abilities which relates to such aspects, well suited to their purpose and charscterizations.
"Old friend? So you knew me didn't you?" If I didn't lose my powers... my Relic... this wouldn't happen! But this mighy be my only way out.
"Easy there, the only reason he cast out unto this world... is this." Pointing towards Akane, and now Silver alongside with Diana and Ashley who just arrived.
"Them?" In disbelief I stared blankly unto the four gathered around the two of us. The rift he used to cross seems to be closed now, so he doesn't seem to be going anytime soon.
"With your debilitated, dormant state; you stand no chance should you step beyond this world. Without your massively powerful Relic, without any of your innate power which you had painstakingly unlocked; you won't make it out. Alone, that is."

(Lance's POV)
The entire reliquary I'm stuck in hasn't made a single sound. Aside from the creaking of wood brought upon by my panicked footsteps.
"Who's there!?!" I cried out to the eerie silence. Echoing back and forth, and half a minute passed without a reply. Hmm. Was I really being pursued?
"Lance?" That voice... Silver?!?
"...Sil? Sil, is that you?" I scrambled immediately to the location of the voice. As I went into the lobby of the dusty shop, I saw no one in the dim vicinity. No Silver here either. But I swear I heard him! I wouldn't make a mistake and-
*whoosh* A gust of wind. A pile of paper scattered by a gentle, alien breeze.
A breeze which this secluded, closed-off area wouldn't even be able to permeate at all! It continued from a humming, whistling carress; and into a vicious, howling gale. And I heard an old woman's voice in the distance. Whispers abound, as whatever she's saying was silenced by this unnatural phenomena. "Was it really neccessary-... you sure did a number on-... take care.." was all I can make out of those surprisingly audible murmurs.
I couldn't budge from where I stood. "Oh, you could." This wind has me- wait, did I just say that?
"Oh, YOU did!"
I'm speaking to myself? Right now? Am I... have I gone mental due to fear?
"Urgh, sometimes I wonder why YOU of all people got chosen! If you weren't Riddle's son I wouldn't be able to expect more than this! Hush now."
And the raging wind inside the place died instantly. Something... this is beyond belief... Wondrous, terrifying powers like this exist in such a scale?
And my father? Did I just hear that voice say my father's name? Tch. I can't make out anything. At all!
"Go back to school, Lance. This is just the beginning."
"Hey! Wait just a-"
"You have classes you moron! The bus leaves in ten minutes! And if you're looking for Silver, he's at the academy too!" The voice now sounded childishly irate, yet surprisingly still as divine as earlier. This being not only read my mind, it even knows how things work here at Lightning Field, and Silver's location too?
Fascinating... but I have to get out of here! This new feeling of excitement and discovery would not get the better of me!
(5 minutes later)
I didn't make it?!? But it was... how could..? Did that voice just lie to me? But even my watch says 11:30, clear as day! And that bus is already too far out to chase! Drat!
"Arghhh! If only another bus miraculously appeared right here, but that's gotta be at least 20 minutes... away..?" A bus towards Arc University, in the freaking flesh.
"Looks like you're late too." A confident voice shook me to the core as it effortlessly rang out and sent a message of pure fear in my soul.
"..Ms. Vain?"
"Now that's odd. We all know no buses go around this area as some roads close at noon. Lance... was it? That's some lucky streak you got there. Almost... surreal."
Not gonna lie, after what happened earlier, I never thought I'd be terrified even more NOW. What kind of trouble have I gotten myself into at that place anyways? It all started with that Arc Girmorum book, that girl Ashley, and now even Silver sometimes goes out late and comes home unusually tired out!
What has fate in store for me anyways?!?
"No, Lance. What have YOU in store for fate instead?"
I think I'm getting dizzy. Yeah. A nap will... do... zzz...
