Meeting The Living Dead

I was standing there. What could I do. There was nothing left. As they came closer we just backed up until we hit a wall. We were surrounded.

24 Hours Earlier...

"It is the last day of school!" I said to my friends.

"Yeah!" They all said.

I was just a normal teenager... well I'm not sure about normal. My name is Alfie. I have light blonde hair and I have glasses. Anyway I have the same old lessons but at least I get to see my friends.

After school, there was a knock at my house. It was Bradley and Morgan.

"Hi do you want to play out?" Bradley said.

"Ok. Who's playing out?" I asked.

"Well there is Lily, Emily, Blake, Ellie and all of them." Morgan said.

"Ok be back in a minute." I said.

I quickly got changed into clothes that I could play out in and then I left. When I got there, all my friends were there.

"Hi Alfie!" They said.

"Hi!" I said.

"What you doing over the half-term?" We asked each other.

Basically no one were doing anything. Then I got an idea.

"Why don't we all go cinema?" I said.

"Yeah! That's a good idea!" They said.

"Afterwards we could go looking around Lakeside Shopping Centre?" Emily said.

"We could go looking at Union J clothes!" Ellie and Lily said hyperventilating.

"I need to get a new football shirt too!" Blake said.

"Ok so should we leave about half-11?" Morgan said.

"Yeah so we can get there for 12." Bradley said.

"Ok. Now let's get on with some football!" I said.

We played football for hours until my mum called me for dinner. I got home just in time for dinner. After that I went to bed looking forward to tomorrow.

The next day, I woke up and was still half-asleep. Then I looked at the time and rushed to get ready. It was 9:00 when I woke up but I spent time on my phone until 10:30.

I was ready by 11:00 because I was quick and my friends knocked so we could all walk down to the bus station.

When we got there, we got food then went and watched a movie.

After the movie we walked into the Shopping Centre.

"That was well good!" I said.

"I want to watch it again!" Morgan said.

"I wish Union J were in it." Ellie and Lily sighed.

"Shut up about Union Gay!" Bradley laughed.

"Yeah no one cares if they are not in it!" Blake said.

"Shut up or we will hurt you!" Ellie and Lily said.

"I'm so scared!" Blake and Bradley said.

Ellie and Lily slapped both in the face.

"Ouch!" Blake and Bradley said.

"That shut them up!" Ellie said.

"Yeah we should do it again." Lily said.

Alfie turned round and said. "Lily and Ellie stop hurting them! Blake and Bradley stop being homophobic!"

"Your not my mum!" Ellie said.

"Stop yelling at me!" Lily said.

"Stop using long words!" Bradley said.

"They started it!" Blake said.

"Dude... seriously your acting like children! Anyway I finished it!" Alfie said.

"Sorry!" They all said.

We got inside and then went looking around. We had all split up to look around. Suddenly all police cars pulled up outside Lakeside. They all ran in but I didn't have a clue why. One policeman stopped and showed me a picture of a criminal.

"Have you seen this man?" He said.

"No. Why what's he done?" I said.

"He has escaped from an insane asylum and broke into a science lab and stole chemicals." he said.

"What type of chemicals?" I asked.

"That's classified. I have already gave away too much information." he said.

"Ok I will let the police know if I see him." I said.

"Just look out. He is extremely armed and considered very dangerous." He said.

Things were going threw my head. He could do anything. Then I had to find my friends. They didn't have a clue what was going on.

I went around and saw someone walk past me. I realised it was him. The psycho. I couldn't say anything because he had weapons. My friends ran up to me.

"Did you hear the news?" They all said.

"Shh! That's him!" I whispered.

"What?" They said.

I gave the police a signal and they ran up to me. I told them I saw him and they went up to him. The police came close and pulled there guns out.

"Don't shoot or I kill this hostage!" He shouted.

They had one of my friends from school. It was Sophie. It was my friends girlfriend as well. Logan ran up and pulled Sophie away and when he went to shoot he dropped a tablet out of his pocket. He stopped and picked it up. He smiled and put it in his mouth. He fell to the ground in a fit with police still aiming there guns. He was on the floor a while like he was dead. Then he got up but he looked different. He looked like the life got sucked out of him. Like he was... dead.
