Meeting The Living Dead

Two Groups Divided

It had been hours now... they still have not called. We all just kept thinking of the worst things like... what if they are dead? Then I checked my phone. It was 10:30 p.m. I started drifting off.

I got woken up by this buzzing noise. It was my phone. It was 4:30 a.m. Why would they call now? I answered the call.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hi it's Bradley." Bradley said.

"Are you all ok?" I asked.

"Yeah... well..." Bradley said.

"What?" I said.

"Most of us." He said.

I looked round and thought some people were missing. I started shouting and woke everyone up.

"Guys! Where's Logan and Sophie?" I asked.

"That's the problem." Bradley said. "It's Logan and Sophie."

"What is it? What's happened?" I said.

"They are... zombies!" He said.

I dropped my phone and looked shocked.

"What's wrong?" They all shouted.

"It's Logan and Sophie. They are zombies!" I said.

Everyone looked shocked but then I heard Bradley shouting down the phone.

"Yeah what is it? I asked.

"We have still got them." He said.

"What! They could kill you!" I said.

"And Ellie!" Lily said like she just realised what was going on.

I looked at her signed and said. "Yes...and Ellie!"

"What?"she said. "It's true!"

"Yeah but don't worry about everyone else there that could die!" I shouted.

"Sorry I spoke!" She said.

"I'm sorry you spoke too!" I said.

"Your not my mum!" She said.

I looked at her face palmed and said. "You don't say!"

"I do say!" She said.

"Why?" I said.

"Why what?" She said.

"Why are you so weird?" I said. "Anyway why are talking about this when there is more important things going on?" I said.

"Well... Your face is weird!" She said.

"Really?" I said.

"Yeah!" She smiled like she said a smart thing.

"Well... your life's weird!" I said.

"Harsh!" she said.

"Hello about Logan and Sophie!" Bradley shouted down the phone. "We just got down here and ready when we heard Sophie screaming with Logan changing and then Sophie changed."

"Then what?" I said.

"If you give me a minute I will tell you!" Bradley said. "But Logan had this injection so we put some in both pulled them through and put them in the storage and they have not changed since!"

"So it's like a cure!" I said.

"Well the start of one." Bradley said.

"Wow that was one long breath then." I said.

"Okay." He said. Then there were noises in the background. "I have to go." He said.

Then I was laying there. Trying to get back to sleep but couldn't over the fact of what happened to Logan and Sophie.

I woke up at 6:30 in the morning. I still did not get any sleep. I basically just dozed off until the others got up. Hopefully it will not show.

"What's that around your eyes?" Lily said.

I didn't think it would be that obvious.

"Wait where's Emily?" I said.

"Dunno." Lily said.

I walked over to her sleeping bag and she was not asleep there. All that was there was a note. It read.

"I can't do this anymore. Don't worry I am finding my way home now. I will message Alfie to let you know I'm fine.

Love, Emily xxx"

"Great! Now there's only two left!" I said.

Lily looked at me like she didn't know what to do now. I tried to phone the others but my connection had gone.
