A Modern Cinderella Story

Pt. 10

Ella's pov

I wake up and see that it is 9:00. I roll out of bed becuase I need to go to the boy's house today. Jonah sent me the address. I get ready in no time I do some natural make up and leave.

Daniel's pov

I get up around 9:00 becuase the guys want me to go grocery shopping. I dm Olive to meet me at the store. She acted like a real brat when I said meet me at the grocery store but it's fine becuase I will never get back together with her. No one can change that much.

I get to the store and Olive is already waiting for me

Olive-"hey Dani!"

Me-"um hey Olive"

Me-"I need to pick up a few thing but could you walk with me?"

Olive-"of course Dani!"

Me-"so about yesterday, why did you run off?"

Olive-"well, seeing you again brought back so many memories and it was very overwhelming."

Me-"oh" that was a pretty convincing answer.

I get everything that I needed and I offer to take her back to the wdw house to meet the rest of the guys but I told her that Ella would probably be there. She agreed and we left.

Ella's pov

I get to the boys house and walk in. I am greeted to them all (except Daniel) hanging out on their couch.

Corbyn-"why hello there."

Zach-"hey Ella"

Jack-"what's up"

Jonah-"hi Ella"

Me-"hey guys" i take a seat next to them on the couch.

Jack-"soooo, what happened last night?"

Me-"well, when I walked into the gym everyone was staring at me which made me uncomfortable so I left to go outside. When I got outside, I started singing youth by Troye Sivan becuase singing always calms me but apparently, Daniel was listening to the whole thing. I got pretty embarrassed becuase my dad was the last one who heard me sing before he left us. He said that I sounded really good. He took off his mask and I got scared so I ran."

Zach-"I could see you two together"

We all laugh

Jack-"I ship it!"

Corbyn-"HEY THAT MY GIRL!! But for the record, I like you two together."

Me-"thanks guys, but he would never like me like that."

Jonah-"If he took the time, he would realize how lucky he is that you are in his life. He will want you back."

Me-"thanks Jonah." I lean over to hug him. But Daniel walks in.

Daniel-"hey Im home and guess what guys?"

He looks over and sees Jonah and I hugging and he got pretty uncomfortable.

Jack-"what"

Daniel-"well, I found out who the mystery girl that I met yesterday is!"

Zach looks at me-"who is it?"

Daniel looks over his shoulder and out comes Olive. He puts his arm around her and I can feel my cheeks turn red.

Daniel-"olive!"

My heart sinks in my chest. I guess we can't be anything. I really don't want to see him again.

Me-"sorry guy, I need to go."

Jonah-"no ella, don't"

Jack-"ya ella, stay"

Me-"sorry, see you guys around"

As I pass Olive and Daniel, Olive sticks her foot out and trips me. I didn't completely fall more like stumble just enough to look stupid.

Olive-"Ella, you should be more careful of where you are walking."

I run out the door. I never look back.
