Well, it's time for the art show. It's funny how I only decided to participate because it was open to the whole school, and I thought I'd give it a try. I just showed up a little bit ago at the library, where this was all taking place, and there were more people there than I thought. I felt just a little bit embarrassed after seeing all the great art around me and comparing it to mine. I know I'm not much of an artist, I'm only a hobbyist drawer, but I should've expected this anyways. As I was writing this all down though I suddenly heard a bunch of people exclaiming about something. I looked over to see if it had something to do with Freddy as it came from where he was stationed. I saw the painting everyone was wowed at and even I let out a joyous remark like it was a reflex. It truly was something different. To describe this portrait of Tori is hard to put in words, but it made me realize why Fred loved her so much. If he could describe how much he truly loved her, it was with that painting, and because of it there truly was no better way to describe it all. I glanced at him for a bit and I started to think about him for a second. The guy seemed to have it all; the talent, the girl, the fanbase, and probably the grades too. I was so surprised at what he had going for him, and I felt that he was truly going places with his life.

After I finished writing, I looked over at Freddy and realized that something had caught his attention through his peripheral vision. It was something red, but the kind of red that really appeals to the human eyes; a red so elegant you couldn't help but look at it. I remember a quote I read once that said, "Red turn heads", and in this case this quote made sense. Entering his line of sight was the view of a woman of some Spanish descent, assumingly Latina. She was wearing a little pretty red dress which almost seemed to be borderline of breaking dress code, but the elegance she presented herself with had made the difference. To put it in other words though, she was hot. I look back at Freddy and thought, I'm sure Freddy felt the same way I did after seeing her, but if he even did think the same thing I did the thought must've entered him as quickly as it left. He quickly reestablished his poise. Looking back at the girl, she wore with her long, luxurious, thick brown hair, elegant dark chocolate colored eyes, perfectly curved nose and cheekbones, thick red lips, and an overall perfectly clear and attractive face. I myself started to wonder why I thought so highly of her looks but quickly had to shove that thought out of my mind to keep observing. I look back to Fred, his head locked in place and stiffened where it was. He caught the glare of her eyes; to me, it looked like the emotions were building up inside him, or were they building up inside me? She noticed him staring, and she awkwardly started to talk to him. I got closer to them to eavesdrop on the situation. After arriving a little late to the party, I pick up on the conversation.

"...uh, wow what a beautiful painting you got here!" Her voice sounded higher than necessary when she said that.

"Hehe, thanks, I-I guess. I don't feel it's my best work though." That sounded suspicious, but maybe he just doesn't want to brag.

"Isn't the point of the art show to display your best art for everyone to see?" She is kind of talking normally now.

"Oh uh, haha! Hang on, don't get me wrong I'm not saying this isn't the best painting I've made, I-I just felt that uh, I could've done better, ya know? There is always room for improvement." Yeah, he was definitely trying not to brag.

"Oh, I see. This painting has such realism to it, I could almost imagine the girl jumping out of the canvas and greeting me like she was truly human."

"Ha! Well, that is probably because this is a real person. She uh, goes here actually."

"Oh, uh, what's her na-" Her phrase cut off by a friend calling for her. She told him goodbye and went her own way. It looked like Freddy was going to say something, but I don't know what exactly.
