*CHAPTER II: DREAMS OF FATE AND CROSSINGS OF DEFIANCE
~~PRIMROSE MILLS~~
"But mother! You know we need it," Here I was, yelling at my mother over the recent run in with the law today. Yet again.
"And you know we get our money from Lady Tremaine!" My mother argued, "We have enough, so I don't want you stealing at the market again, do you hear me Prim?" she ordered. Mother thought that just because Lady Tremaine was a villain also, that she would help out a fellow villain. That was the dumbest thing I'd ever heard!
"But mother!"
"Promise me Prim, I don't want to put you in danger," My mother's face softened a little, her eyebrows creased with worry.
I rolled my eyes trying to hide my guilt, "Fine," I hissed through gritted teeth, reluctantly agreeing not to steal again. But only for a week to get her off of my radar.
My mother's black curls hung loosely behind her back, black dress making a whooshing sound as she swung to the side, picked up her broom, and started furiously sweeping the dinning room floor. Signaling the end of our conversation.
I ran (More like stomped) up the stairs to my room, leaving the door slightly ajar for air. I plopt down onto my bed and screamed into the sheets in frustration. This wasn't fair! I know I have expressed this many times but, we aren't villains. We're innocent people. Normal people rather. Why couldn't people see that those were just fictional stories created by Walt to remind everyone of the real evil out there? Why couldn't my mom realize that we were treated unfairly? That we needed to fight back?!
I turned on my back and I lay on my bed, staring at the ceiling, until I heard a pebble hit my window. I turned my head and saw the faint flicker of a shadowing in the dim light of the full moon. Of course he's here.
I rolled my eyes and walked over to the window, glaring at the figure outside. "Let me in," Peter whispered. First Gaston, then my mom, and now a lecture from Peter? Kill me now.
I unlocked the window and let Peter in. "What do you want?" I hissed. Why was I so mad at him again? Oh yeah, he basically reminded me very harshly that I didn't have a father. How nice of him.
"Someone's grumpy aren't they?" Peter chuckled. The frown turned sour, "I'm sorry Prim. You know I didn't mean what I said about your dad. I was just caught in the moment." He looked away.
"I told you it was fine." I lied. It never was. It felt like a part of me was missing without my father.
We both took a deep breath, and I tried to break the silence. I opened my mouth to say something, but closed it again.
"Are you ok? I saw what happened with Gaston." Peter spoke softly. I nodded stiffly, remebering my little encounter with Gaston a few hours ago.
"Yeah, I'm okay. My pride has dimmed a little but I'll live," I joked.
Peter nodded smiling, "Must have been hard to have your precious record ruined, master of thieves." He said sarcastically.
I snorted, "I really loathe him now, even more so than before. And not only because he's a cocky good for nothing, selfish, m--"
