I shut my locker and turn around to face my two best friends. Quilla and Carter. Quilla has short wavy blonde hair that stops just above her shoulders. Her complexion is soft and her face is short. She's kind but will bite back if someone steps over the lime.
Yes I did say lime. Deal with it.
Carter has natural blonde highlights running through his brunette hair. He has an adourable smile and a chiseled jaw. He's the sweetest and he'll love your pets more than he'll love you.
Ha, you're probably wondering if they're regulars or if they have there own secret. Well both of them have their little secret too.
Ma boi Carter is a werewolf. He doesn't shift unless he wants to. He can shift any part of his body to be like a wolf. It's a pretty cool ability.
While ma girl Quilla is a celestial fairy. She can create moonlight or stars with her finger tips. She can also fly. She has the most amazing wings that appear and disappear whenever she wants them to.
They both know that I'm a late bloomer and they've been my best friends ever since I moved to this dimension. It's been a good few years with them.

"Hey guys, what's up?" I greet them with a small wave and a warm smile.
"The sky, obviously," Quilla states, as if it's the most obvious thing in the world.
"Oh god, Quilla don't start this, it's too early in the morning," I laugh and shake my head. She always has some sarcastic comment to put into the day.
"What? I don't know what you're talking about," she smiles innocently. She is definantley a handful especially on Mondays.
"Uh guys, shouldn't we get to class?" Carter cuts in on our weird conversation. To be honest I almost forgot Carter was here.
Yup I'm officially the worst friend ever. Please no hate.
"Riiiight, class ... dammit, I hate it when you're right Carter." I complain. He's usually always right, and it's not great.
"It's a gift Juni," he states with a wink.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. I got Biology, what do you guys have?" I wave his statement off and change the subject.
"I got history," Quilla checks her schedule on her phone.
"Yeah same," Carter states as he puts his arm around Quilla. "Guess that means we'll be walking to class together." He winks at Quilla.
Omg I've always shipped them together. I wonder if this is the year where they finally get together. Probably not though. Quilla has always been pretty oblivious to Carter's feelings. Every time I try to explain to her that it isn't. She always just shakes her head and tells me that he's just bantering with her and that's all.
I think she just can't accept the fact that he is head over heels for her.
"Oh god Carter, why are you like this," Quilla removes Carter's arm and laughs.
The bell rings snapping us out of whatever that was and moving our minds back into the horrible reality of school.
"Ok guys, see ya later at lunch," I push myself off the locker and wave them goodbye. They wave goodbye and turn to head off to their class.
I turn around and begin to walk to my class. I weave my way through the students that are also on their way to their next class. Majority are regulars and few are like me, not late bloomers but they are from different dimensions. I make it to my class and quickly walk in. Our teacher is usually late so we don't really have a problem with her complaining that we aren't on time.
