Luck was definitely not on their side in this Saturday night.
"Oh come on, it's not the time to tell me we can't use your phone !"
"Let's try with yours."
"Nobody's going to answer."
"Don't worry, I'll call my assistant."
"Oh, you just wanted me to give you my phone. Wait a second."
He searched through his pockets, through his bag, once again in his pockets and sat down to look in his bag one more time. Mark watched in silence but knew exactly the feeling that was running in the highschooler's veins. Panic.
Panic because there was nothing in his pockets. Panic because there was too much space to explore in his bag and too many things and nothing that felt or looked like a phone.
"I don't have it."
