chapter twenty one:

Day Five
4:55 pm

I was in my room with Erin and her other friend, when a boy opened the door. I looked up and he looked confused.

"Oh, I'm sorry!" He quickly said. "I thought this was the bathroom."

"It's okay," I said and he smiled. "The bathroom is right next door."

"Thank you and sorry again for barging in here. I'm not good with directions," he laughed and I did too. "I'm Blake by the way, thank you for letting us stay here."

"No problem," I said. "I'm Sammy."

"I know," he said. I gave him a confused look. "Oh, Hunter told me your name. Nice meeting you!" He rushed out of my room and closed the door.

"Well then," I mumbled to myself. Erin and Ashley looked at me, "no, no, no!"

"What? We're just looking at you," Erin said.

"No, you guys are giving me the look," I said. "Don't get any ideas, you guys know I like somebody else."

"Okay," Ashley said, "we're just saying you aren't dating anybody, so you can like as many people as you want."

"I only like one boy," I said.

"Just keep your options open, love," Erin winked at me and I playfully rolled my eyes.

"He's one of Hunter's friends, plus all of Hunter's friends are social media influencers. Blake probably has tons of girls wanting him. So I wouldn't have a chance." I shrugged off the though.

"Yeah, but how many do those girls have him staying at their house?" Erin smirks.

"None," I mumble.

"Exactly! So you do have a chance. Don't put yourself down. Have some faith in yourself!" Ashley said.

I mean, Blake is really cute but we only just met. He's too cute to like me back. It wouldn't work out anyway. Or would it?
