(Lucy POV)
The captain's sudden announcement sent shivers down my spine.
First, Natsu proposes.
Then, the captain makes this unbelievable announcement.
Natsu and I exchange glances. This can't be right. We were just on a mission a few days ago with no news of progress on the titans and now their suddenly moments away from going extinct. I suddenly feel as if I can't hold down my last meal and prepare to hurl.
Natsu observes my sudden actions and quickly asks me a question I was prepared for. "Lucy! Are you alright?!" He spits these words out almost immediately. I attempt to regain my composure and reassure him.
"I'm fine! I just can't believe this news, you know?" I pump him full of my best excuses. He simply nods in agreement, wearing an understanding look on his face.
"We simply don't have time to sit around here, do you all understand? Wall Maria is taking a hit, so in the next few hours, all the remaining titans will be within the wall. I want you all ready for battle and meet in the East wing in 5 minutes!" The captain's voice boomed in the small room as each soldier jumped from their spots to assemble their gear.
I grow worried. What in the world am I gonna do?
