Northern Lights

When I look at everyone.

I see northern lights.

Ready to show off to everyone.

I see colors.

From red to orange to yellow to blue.

Green to red to violet to white.

Then I see the lights getting dim.

When suddenly the person puts all the lights on.

And doesn't show off those hidden lights.

Everyone thinks that they aren't amazing.

Worthless and plain trash.

So they decide to hide.

I wish they saw what I saw.

From the vibrant beauty of the lights.

To realize the bad parts make them human.

And I will say this to everyone.

You are amazing just the way you are

Don't be afraid to show your northern lights.

The video on the top is a video of an actual recording of Northern Lights that someone has taken from the far north of Scotland in 2014. The video is 2:22 long...in case you didn't know. But you can already see how long it is anyways. AND no, it doesn't completely relate to the poem, but I put it here just in case someone didn't know how the Northern Lights look. I must say, it is INCREDIBLY beautiful. Don't you agree?
