The New Start Part 6

Disclaimer: This part will be a bit short because i need to post and i was camping so i am a bit late. But yeah... sorry it's short!!!

Previously: You looked out at Jonah and he looked sad. You didn't know who he was on the phone to. You got a bit worried but didn't think much of it...

You left Jonah be but you went on with your day. You could do much because you were very tired and needed rest. And hour later, Jonah came and hung out with you. "Finally, you missed something special!" You say cuddling up to him. "What did I miss?" He says interested. "The babies kicked!" "Really." His eyes lit up and he looked really happy. Then the babies kicked again. "Ah" You say. "Are they kicking again?" Jonah puts his hand on your belly and feels them. It was so beautiful. "I can't wait to see these little ones!" He says. You smile and kiss him. The rest of the day, you and Jonah hung out on the couch binge watching movies. When you two were going to sleep, Jonah's phone rings. "Ugh, turn it off." You say almost asleep. Jonah walks out the room and answers the phone. You roll over and watch Jonah go out. You were curious about these phone calls. You get out of bed and put your robe on. You walk out the room and quietly follow Jonah. You heard him talking. "I can't come, y/n is pregnant and i need to look after her. I will come after the baby is born." Jonah said not knowing you were listening. "Ok mom, i love you. Bye." He said. He turned around and saw you standing there. Jonah just stood there frozen. "What's going on Jonah?", "Look baby, don't worry about it." He starts to walk pass you and you stop him. "Tell me what's going on." you say. "it's nothing important." "fine." You walk up stairs and get a bag. You start to pack a bag. Jonah walks in and see's you. "what are you doing." he said. "If you won't tell me what's going on, then i'm leaving." You get clothes and start to put them in the bag." Jonah then grabs your clothes and pull's them out of the bag. "fine i'll tell you." You stop and turn to him. "It's my dad. He's sick." he said looking down sadly. "I'm so sorry to hear that. are you going to go see him." "I can't." "Why, because i'm pregnant? I'll be fine by myself. Go to Minnesota to check on your dad, the boys will look after me." "I'm not going with out you, Your coming with me." "But..." "No buts, your coming with me and that's final. The day we said i do, is the day we stick together forever and i won't leave you by yourself. so start packing." Jonah kisses your cheek and goes upstairs. You went upstairs with him and go back to sleep.

The next morning you woke up to a couple of bags on the floor. Jonah was still asleep so you went down stairs and made him breakfast. By the time you were done cooking, he woke up. "Morning babe." He said wrapping his arms around your waist. You smile and kiss him on the lips. "Morning, what were all those bags on the floor?" you said. "Were leaving today to go to Minnesota." "Today!" You say surprised. "Yep, so get dressed, our flight is at 12pm." "Ah, ok." You give him his food and you steal some as well, then went to get ready. It became 10am and you and Jonah got your stuff. You got into the car and drove to the Airport. You got pass security and the check in zone. Finally you got on the plane and it was such a quick ride. When you were landing, the babies were kicking and it started to hurt you. Jonah noticed that you were in pain so he rubbed you back. "You ok y/n?" he said. "I'm fine... When we get off can we go to the bathroom." You felt sick. "Of course." When you got off the plane, you and Jonah quickly went to the restroom. You started throwing up. When you were down you washed your face and went out to Jonah. "Are you ok now." He said. "A little." You say. You and Jonah walked to get your bags and that's when you met up with his family. "JONAH!!" Esther yelled while running up to Jonah. She jumped on him and hugged him tightly. "Hey y/n" His mom said giving you a hug. "We missed you both!" Esther said hugging you. "It's great to see you guys too, but y/n isn't feeling well so could we go straight home." Jonah said. "No it's ok Jonah, we don't have to go straight home." You say. "Y/n, you feel sick, you need rest. Were going to go home and your going to sleep." You nod and get your bags. "Here, let me take those." His mom said taking the bags out of your hands. You all walk to the car and go home. It was quite a long drive but you fell asleep in the car so Jonah had to wake you up. "Y/n, wake up." Your eyes flickered and you slowly got up. Jonah took you inside and in to bed. He didn't go to sleep, Jonah just talked to his family about his dad.

Jonah's POV: "How sick is dad?" I said to mom. "He's very weak and sleeps a lot, but the doctors say that it probably the flu or a little bug. He should be better soon but because of his age, it will take a long time for him to get better fully so they've kept him in the hospital. But it's good that you and y/n are here because he's been wanting to see you both since the wedding." I smiles. "Look, i'm going to go check on y/n and maybe have a little nap, but i love you." I say giving my mom a kiss on the cheek. I walk upstairs. i get halfway up the steps, and i hear and thud. I run up stairs and go into my room. I see y/n on the floor on her back pasted out. I run to her and put her in my arms. "Y/N... WAKE UP... MOM CALL AN AMBULANCE." I say yelling at the top of my lungs. Esther runs upstairs and see's me holding y/n in my arms. She looked scared. I Keep yelling to get her to wake up. Suddenly her eyes open, but as she woke up, she started screaming in pain. "JONAH...THE BABIES!!!" She said in pain. I picked her up and carry her to the car. She was moaning in pain. I sat her on my lap stroking her hair. She was breathing so heavily. Mom was driving and Esther was in the passenger seat turned to us in the back seat.

When we got to the hospital, Mom ran in to get some nurses. They got you a bed and wheeled you into the x-ray room. They wouldn't let me in but i was panicking. After a short while of panicking, a nurse came out. "Jonah?" The nurse said. "Is she alright?" I say puffing. "When she fell, she broke one of her rubs which punctured into the area of the babies. They're is no other way but to do a C Section to get the babies out, otherwise the babies will die and we cant fix the rib." I just stood there. "She is in theatre now so would you like to come help give birth to your babies?" I smiled as the nurse said that. "Of course. I just need to see her." i say. "Ok well follow me and we'll quickly get you changed." She took you into a room and you changed into a surgery outfit and went to the room where y/n was. I walked in a I saw y/n laying in a bed with a sheet hiding her face. There were a couple of nurses and midwives. I went to y/n's head and I was holding her hand. She was drugged with morphine so she couldn't fell much pain. She was sweating and puffing a little. "Hey baby, it going to be ok. Just hold my hand... I'm here" I say to comfort her. "I love you Jonah." She said. "Ok y/n. I need you to breath because we are going to start the C Section." The midwife said. Y/n looked at me and she looked scared so I kissed her forehead. "It's going to be ok. Just look in my eyes!" I say. She does a little nod. I look over to the other side of the sheet and I see them cutting into her stomach. I looked back at y/n's face and she was in a little bit of pain. I squeeze her hand. End of POV.

1 hour into it, the first baby was out. It was so cute and little. His eyes were so big and they were a mix of blue and green together. His hair was brown and he weighed 5kg (11lb). He was so cute. 15 minutes later the other baby came out. She was just as cute. She had the same features as the boy. "Would you like to hold them?" The nurse said to Jonah. "Yes please." He said with a big smile. The nurse handed the babies to Jonah and he was so gentle with them. You knew that he was the one and now you felt even more certain. You felt so lucky. The doctors had to wash the babies and Jonah had to leave because they had to fix your rib. It took awhile and they put you to sleep. 2 hours later you woke up in a room really tired. You looked around and saw Jonah's family sleeping and the babies in a little bed. You smiled.
