5 § an unexpected arrival

Chapter 5 - An Unexpected Arrival

"I choose you", Jungkook smiles not letting go of Taehyung's hand.

"Yeah, yeah, I get it prince charming, could ya let go of my hand now? thanks.", Taehyung laughs, and Jungkook lets go of his hands.

"You better unpack, cause I'm not changing my mind, Tae", Jungkook says as he gestured the way to the elevator. Taehyung nods and leaves first.

Taehyung felt really happy inside, he couldn't contain his happiness as when he entered his room he was jumping all over the place, he didn't even know why. He didn't unpack straight away, he wanted to tell his sister that he was chosen. In fact he hasn't visted his sister it's been a few weeks now. So he decides to visit her today, and made his way down. He stops at the kitchen first to grab some food for his family who probably are starving.

"Could you place some of the leftover food from today's dinner please?", Taehyung politely asks as he enters the kitchen.

"Oh Taehyung!, of course!, for your family? Im guessing", the maid smiles quickly packing some of the leftover cuisine in a container.

"Yeah, haven't visited for a while, hehe", Taehyung responds laughing a bit.

"Here you go and congratulations in getting picked! you made it!", the maid smiles handing him a plastic bag with the container of foods inside.

Taehyung smiled and bowed as he was thankful. He was going go ask a chauffeur to drive him to his place but maybe riding a bike is better, less trouble for some people. The city isn't that far anyways and it's only one path to the city. He sees a bicycle located near a gate, asked permission first and got on it. He travelled all the way to the city, although it was time consuming. He finally arrives at his house, knocking on the door and his sister opens it, welcoming him with a hug.

"Taehyung-ah, you're back!?, you got eliminated didn't you..I saw it on tv..", Taeyeon mutters a little disappointed.

"Actually, he chose me", Taehyung replies changing his voice back to normal and enters the house.

"Wait, what!? The prince chose you!? Don't play with me Taehyung-ah.", His sister couldnt believe a single word his brother was saying.

"Im not lying..", Taehyung halts for second, looking at the amount of food placed on the table, "What the fuck, who gave you all of these food!?".

"Ahh, well the prince visisted yesterday, and gave us all of these to wish you good luck. Isn't he sweet?", Taeyeon daydreams, recalling Jungkook's heavenly voice and smile.

"He..gave..you.. food??, he didn't tell me anything about this..", Taehyung mutters sounding a bit upset.

"Why? does he need to tell you?", Taeyeon replies closing the front door.

"Well..no but..he should've fucking told me he visited you.", Taehyung places the food he brought home and gives his younger siblings a tight hug.

"Soo..Taehyung, how is he?", Taeyeon walks towards Taehyung, eyes filled with curiosity.

"Jungkook?, well don't know..", Taehyung bluntly asnwers.

"Do you like him?, did you gain interest in him?, because I'm shipping this shit!", Taeyeon widely smiles.

"I'm leaving now.", The male completely ignores his sister's question and walks out. Taehyung of course didn't know if he liked him or not, but he loves hanging out with Jungkook although he sometimes could be irritating as hell.

Jungkook was definitely something else, Taehyung wasn't sure if that guy was an egotistical asshole or an actual sweetheart?. Taehyung suddenly remembers Jungkook's laugh, his brown glowing eyes and the way he resembled an actual rabbit was plain adorable to Taehyung. Although he refuses to admit it, he thinks about the other male quite a lot without knowing it.
