Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: The Mysterious Beasts

Being the Totem Pokemon

(I'd imagine this theme playing when Gumaz battles Type:Virus and Rodrick and Skales battle Jake and Pearl...)

Gumaz woke up first to see that she was trapped in some kind of electrical cage that could shock her if she goes too near to the barbs. She looked around to see Skales knocked out with a metal chain on his neck. She saw Skie frozen, but wheres Charlie?

"Where's that Type:Null?... Hm..." Gumaz wondered,

"Hello? Anyone there!" A voice was heard at Gumaz's right. She looked to her right to see Rodrick the Swampert thug in fear with lots of wounds on his body, she took a step back and gasped. That was the thug!

"Hey you! Wheres Snowflake and Charlie!" Gumaz said,

"Wait, you know them?! Thank gosh, you see me and my team were betrayed by Hypno and Necrozma, and I can help you find them!" Rodrick said,

Gumaz had a shocked expression on her face. She had no choice but to trust this "thug". Being a Totem Pokemon is hard work, so she needs to train hard to become strong to protect any kind of pokemon. But being lazy, she was always scared of everything and lets another Totem pokemon she knows take her job. But now was not the time to be Gumaz the coward, now was the time to be Gumaz the brave! Gumaz nodded and went close to the barb. As she was about to touch them.

"DON'T!!!" Rodrick yelled, warning her. But it was too late, for she was electrocuted. Letting out a loud scream as she fell on her back. She got up and heard something open behind her, Rodrick hid in the darkness as Necrozma,Hypno,Pearl,Annabelle, and Jake came in the room. Gumaz gasped seeing Pearl and Annabelle along with Necrozma. Necrozma commanded Hypno to unfreeze Skie only up to her neck, as he did, Skie took a deep breath and shook her head to clear her vision. She was shocked to see Jake the Lucario with them.

"Hello, dear Skie. We need you for something!" Hypno said,

Skie shook her head with tears.

"N-no! Jake, help me please! Get them! We thought you were our guardian back at town! But why?!" Skie asked demandingly,

Jake didn't reply. Instead, he moved aside for Hypno to use Psychic to carry Skie. Skie looked at Jake with disappointment as she was carried away, trying to fight back. But it was no use, Pearl was commanded to freeze Skie again as she stopped trying to fight back. Gumaz gasped as she tried to get their attention.

"Hey you!" She yelled,

Necrozma turned around to see Gumaz,

"Yes you! Give Skie back!!! I, Gumaz the Totem Salandit will defeat you and protect all of the pokemon here at the pokemon world!!!" Gumaz exclaimed,

Necrozma laughed at the sight of what Gumaz said. Gumaz looked confused, why was he laughing? Can't he see that hes talking to a Totem Pokemon!

"Young Gumaz, you may be considered as a Totem. But you are NOT fit to be a totem! You will never be as better as any pokemon you think. You're just a mistake in this world!" Necrozma said, making Gumaz freeze. He expression soon changed, from brave, to scared and hurt. She was about to tear up, but suddenly stopped as she said, "Then I challenge you to a battle!"

"Okay then, I'll let you have a battle with someone you might know." Necrozma said,

Skales managed to wake up because of the tugging sensation he felt on his neck. He heard a light snap, turning around, he saw Rodrick the thug. Before he screamed, Rodrick covered his mouth and hid in the darkness along with Skales.

"Mph! Mph!" Skales muffled, trying to ask Rodrick on why he's doing this.

"Listen, I've changed! You have to trust me. I wanna help Snowflake and Charlie too. Your friend over there, shes in trouble!"

Skales paused, Rodrick removed his hand as Skales looked at him.

"Wh-why???" He asked,

"Because your Type:Null friend... was changed by Necrozma!" Then, they heard footsteps comming from Gumaz, Necrozma and the others.

On the opened doors, a figure came into the room. Gumaz's eyes were wide open to see who it was.

Charlie...

He looked different, he was still the same but... it was like he was possessed by a Nihilego! The Nihilego was around his head, his eyes were dark grey with black pupils. He had black wisps on his eyes and the Niheligo's tentacles were sharp. And had 2 tentacles that looked like claws.

"You will be challenged by him! Type: Virus..." Necrozma said, the possesed Null then lunged onto Gumaz, swiping his claws at her. Sending her flying as she hit the wall hard. Before she got up, Type: Virus got her by the neck and slammed her to the ground. He then began to beat her up. Gumaz wanted to give up, she just wanted him to end her. But no! She snapped out of being the weak Totem she knew and manage to grab the Type: Virus by the claw. She pushed him aside and used Flamethrower on the Type: Virus. Necrozma and the gang were shocked, Necrozma eventually sent Pearl and Jake to attack Gumaz. But then Skales and Rodrick leaped out of the darkness and attacked the 2. This gave Gumaz the chance! The chance to perform... her Z move. She saw the Firium on the ground and picked it up. She held it close to her chest,

"I can do this... hey you! Over here!!" She yelled, The possesed Null caught his attention and ran straight to the Totem Salandit.

"With the power of the Z crystal!... I shall bring out all of the energy stored in me! Unleashing it all to defeat evil!!!" Gumaz said while doing the Firium move to gather all of the energy to unleash her full powered Z move.

"INFERNO!!!" She said as she got on all fours and began to make a giant flaming ball as she unleashed it towards the Null,

"OVERDRIVE!!!" with one last move, she unleashed the giant flaming ball as the Type: Virus stood still as the fire consumed him. Blinding everyone in the room.

When everything cleared up, Gumaz stood still and saw Charlie. And the Niheligo behind him, Gumaz growled at the Niheligo as it ran off into a worm hole it made. Gumaz, Skales and Rodrick ran to Charlie, being worried if the Null would wake up.

Charlie opened his eyes and got up weakly.

"Ugh... Wh-what happened?..." Charlie said,

"Charlie!!!" Gumaz and Skales said, hugging the Type:Null. Charlie managed to get them off to stop the hugging soon and saw Rodrick, he growled at him but then, Gumaz and Skales explained everything. Charlie nodded and went up to Rodrick.

"We need to find Snowflake... you need to come with us!..."

Rodrick nodded. But then Skales said, "Wait! Wheres Skie?!" They looked back and saw nothing. Necrozma and the gang must've escaped!.

"We should go after them!" Charlie said,

"Lets go!" Rodrick and Charlie ran up ahead first as Gumaz and Skales catched up. What they didn't know that someone saw the whole battle! He was following them all.

"I will get Skie back! For mom and dad!" The figure said as he began to chase them in the shadows.
