Shit!

Tony had stayed up all night for 3 days. He had been working on a stunning experiment. Once he had completed it, on the fourth day, he called in his house mates. Loki leaned against the door-unimpressed. Bruce hovered close, sucked into the scientific world. Steve stayed at a distance, Thor stood close with his face screwed up in confusion and Clint and Natasha stood next to Steve, intrigued but not showing it. Fury screamed through the A.I speakers, scaring Tony and setting his invention off. "Ladies get yo asses up here! You too Loki!" Referring to everyone as a lady. Except Loki. For some odd reason fury never insulted Loki, despite all of his mischievous tac-tics. Tony kept piping up questions as to whether they were together, he only stopped- for that day- because Loki had placed a gun in front of him.

Once the blue smoke had died down, Tony looked around. On the floor, in heaps of clothes, the house mates lay. "Shit!" He ran over to the closest pile, Bruce's. "Bruce?!" Panic laced Tony's voice.

Bruce popped his head up out of the shirt. "Tony!" He warned. Tony couldn't help but laugh at the situation. A 6 year old Bruce glared at Tony, Steve toddle over: 7 years old. Thor crawled over as well: 8. No wonder he was after all over a thousand. Natasha and Clint walked over as well, 5/6. Tony looked around for his favourite housemate. "Loks?" He asked after a few minutes of him not popping up and causing mischief. He caught movement in the far corner. He spun around and pointed at Loki. "Caught ya! No mischief today Loks!" He smirked. Only, his smirk vanished after a second. Loki had cowered in the corner. Sensible enough to put on his way-too-big shirt.

The child cowered, with his head in his hands, knees up to his chest. His raven hair flew around his shoulders freely. Tony rushed over, fear and guilt washing through him. "Hey! Hey. Don't cry. Just a joke." Tony calmed soothingly, as he neared closer to the small child. Loki flinched, edging further into the plastered wall. Tony stopped. Sickness washed over him. 'Why was he so scared?' Tony thought. "How old are they?" Tony spoke to his computer system.

Tony's POV:

"Mr.Stark. Mr.Odinson is 8. Mr.Rodgers is 7. Dr.Banner is 6. Mr.Barton is 6. Ms.Romanoff is 5. Mr.Laufeyson is 2&1/2."

I thanked the A.I and wondered why such an age gap was visible. The others had began to grow restless and started a championship match of Rock Paper Scissors. I edged closer to Loki. He physically flinched and whimpered. I held my hand out. "Loki. I'm not going to hurt you. I promise that I'll protect you." I calmed him. What he said next sickened me.

"Father would say that once he finished beating me."

I stood up quickly and covered my mouth with my hand. It was too late. I instantly threw up into the closest waste bin. Loki edged closer to me. "Are you okay? I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do that sir. I'm sorry. I'll stay still. I won't make a noise whilst you hurt me. I promise that." I looked at the child in horror. He was knelt down next to me, he had closed his eyes in fear and embraced the incoming pain. Instead, I wiped my mouth and held him close to me. Once I touched him he whimpered. After a few seconds of no pain, he sunk closer onto me.

*3 hours later*

Loki didn't talk to any of the others unless me. He hid inside my chest. Fury's voice echoed throughout the system and scared Loki. He jumped up and ran under the table. "Where the fuck are you all? It's been 3 bloody hours. Loki! Are you behind this?"

Loki recognised the voice and crept out. "Nick!" He shouted. Pure joy evident on his face. He ran over to me and pleaded with me. "Please can we go see nick? I need to see him!" Loki asked. He had fear on his face but tried to hide it. I looked at the other kids. Arguing over who won the arm wrestle. Obviously Thor. I laughed out loud when Natasha beat him. Thor sent me an angry look but that just made me laugh even more.

I smiled at Loki. "Of course! Come on kids! Let's go see One Eye!" They laughed and followed. Bruce looked up at me as we got into the elevator. "When will you find us a cure?" I looked at him, worried. I didn't even know how I screwed up. Looking back down at Bruce, I replied with. "Soon, science bro." He groaned at the nickname. I laughed and the doors binged. Separating, Loki immediately ran out. I stepped out and walked after him. As did every other child. The workers looked at us, confused. Steve looked up at me and whined. "We need feeding!" I looked around confused. What am I suppose to feed them?

Furys POV:

I heard someone running around a corner and Tony shouting and Steve whining. I groaned. The door flung open and a raven haired boy looked up at me. His piercing green eyes stared into mine. "Loki?" I asked, more like stated. He nodded and ran into my arms. He began to sob.
