A Lover's Embrace

Happy Day

~Continuation of the last chapter~

Reneo's POV

I decided that I will still try to do it even when I am not a good drawer at all. I started with her face. I began drawing the frame of her face and her hair. It was pretty tough because I simply cannot capture her beauty on a piece of paper and also because I cannot draw for the life of me as I have said before. It was a bit of a challenge and after a billion tries I was finally able to make a decent drawing of her. I was pretty proud of myself for drawing something other than a stickman. I looked over my drawing to make sure that I did everything right. I looked over at Rielle and saw that she was already done so we exchanged our drawings of each other. To say that I was surprised would be an understatement. She put so much detail into the drawing and she captured me perfectly. I was in awe, this just made me fall for her even more.

 I became self-conscious of my drawing because my drawing can't even compare to her drawing. She looked at my drawing and said "This is very good." I was silently cheering in my head because she liked it. I replied to her "Thank you and I can say the same about your drawing... in fact it's even better than mine.". I SWEAR by my life I saw a little smile forming on her face. The fact that I made her smile even just a little made me happy and made my heart flutter. If I could see her smile again everything would be perfect. Suddenly there was a hand waving in front of my face, I must've been in my thoughts for so long because Rielle was waving her hand in front of my face.  

I just chuckled awkwardly and said "Sorry I was just thinking about something." she just shrugged in response. I looked around and noticed that we were the first ones to finish. We just decided to wait until they are done. Around 30 minutes later everyone was finally done drawing. We all handed our drawings to the teacher and she graded them one by one. After she was done grading she handed the drawings back to us. I hesitantly looked at my drawing and I was shocked at what score I got. I looked it over again to make sure that the score I got was real. The score I got was 24/25 which believe it or not is the highest score I have gotten in this class. I looked over at Rielle and saw that she got 25/25!! I'm not even surprised that she got that high of a score because she is the best drawer in this class. 

It brings a smile to my face to see her happy because she has the most beautiful smile I have ever seen. The teacher talked about our next project is to make a sculpture out of wood about anything we find fascinating. While I was listening to the teacher I was thinking of something to sculpt because to be honest I don't find anyone nor anything to be fascinating, other than Rielle of course. I couldn't possibly sculpt Rielle so I have to thing of something else. Suddenly, the perfect thing came to mind, I could sculpt a bouquet of flowers, the same bouquet of flowers that I want Rielle to hold on our wedding day, hopefully.

~Time skip to lunch because I don't know what to write~

Once the teacher was done speaking the bell rang almost immediately. I wanted to go to the cafeteria with Rielle but she was just already gone. Sighing I packed my stuff and went to go to the cafeteria but I stopped dead in my tracks because I saw Harold and Angeli walking together towards the cafeteria. They were talking, laughing, and seemed like they're having a good time. It seems like if you don't know them it would seem like a couple. I followed them to the cafeteria and that's where both of them separated sadly. 

I walked over to Harold and said to him "So.... you and Angeli huh?" he immediately blushed scarlet red. He said "W-what I-I don't kn-know what you are talk-talking about!" I just looked at him with a knowing look and said "Yea sure...". We both went to the line to get our lunch and hoping not to get trampled. By some miracle we both got our lunches safely. We both went to our regular table and waited for the rest of our friends (squad) to get here. 

After some time waiting they finally got here so we just chatted and joked with each other after eating since our lunch lasts for 1 hour and 40 minutes. While we were walking around I saw Rielle at the corner of my eye heading outside. I just shrugged it off because I know that that is where her group/squad hangs out. 

~Time skip to the end of the day because I'm lazy~

It's the end of the day and I'm here putting my stuff in my backpack from my last period. I'm dreading the time that I have to go back home to my family. As I pack my last notebook I look up and saw that Rielle was standing by the door looking at me. I go to her and asked why is she here and she just replied with "I thought I left something here but I guess I didn't.". I think by this time I thought in my head that fate gave me a chance to be happy here. Thinking this is my chance to spend more time with her I asked her "Well since you're here do you want to walk with me to the services?", I was hoping with all my heart that she would say yes and to my joy she did! We walked together to the parking area where the services are. To say I had a good time would be an understatement. We chatted along the way and made some jokes here and there. I went home with a smile on my face.
