Dodgeball

Reneo's POV

I woke up yet again with a smile on my face. As I was making my way to the dining room to eat I kept thinking about what happened yesterday. Then a thought crossed me, Angeli and Harold were going to the canteen with each other and they were laughing and joking like a couple in their fresh new love. They really were like a couple and I wish me and Rielle would be something like that in the future (SuperBorded100: *smirks* This maybe a hint but then again maybe not~). Gosh just thinking about me and her being a couple gives me butterflies. Anyways I ate my breakfast in peace because surprisingly my parents left before me. After that i made my way upstairs to my room and did my daily routine of getting ready. While I was browsing through my facebook the service honked its horn. I quickly grabbed my bag and made my way to the service.

When I entered the service I was greeted by Harold and Mochi and I greeted them back. The ride to school was yet again filled with chatter and banter as I would say. When we reached the school we made our way to our classes. Today I have classes with Harold and Angeli. As I was taking notes I heard whispers to my right. I looked over there and saw Harold and Angeli talking to each other while the teacher was teaching. Angeli was giggling to whatever Harold was saying. I looked at them and they really seemed like a couple already if not for them being separated from each other. I wondered if Rielle and I would ever be like that but I guess time will only tell. When the teacher stopped teaching or just showing slide after slide of information that doesn't even make sense we were dismissed and off to our next class which so happened to be PE..... great. 

Groaning I went with Harold to go to PE because he has the same class as me. We arrived in to the gym .We went to the boy's locker room and changed our clothes to our gym clothes. Once we were done we went to the gym, the gym teacher wasn't there yet so we just chatted as all of the students come in. As we were chatting we were interrupted by the sound of an ear piercing  whistle blowing. We immediately lined up and listened to the gym teacher, the gym teacher who is also known as Mr. Smith said "Alright listen here we are gonna play dodgeball so, so change into your gym clothes!", after he said that all of the students (including me and Harold) ran towards the locker rooms. The girls went to their locker rooms and the boys went to the separate locker room. We quickly changed and ran out of the locker rooms, and when I mean ran, I LITERALLY mean we ran out of there. 

Once all of the students are in the gym the coach said to us "Okay, now I will pick two leaders and from there the leaders will pick on who they will include in their teams, so no complaining got it?!", as a response all of us said "YES SIR!". The coach picked Abby (SuperBored100: I forgot to mention that she was in this class/period...oops) and Harold. To say I was surprised that Harold was picked for a leader because he doesn't get picked, I think this is the first time that he got picked as a leader. Once the coach has picked both of them, the coach asked or more like commanded them to choose which one will be picked on their team. 

After that the coach went to the back of the gym and just observed... for now at least. That's when Abby and Harold started picking people in their team. Abby and Harold had to decide first on who was gonna pick first between the two of them. In the end they decided by playing rock-paper-scissors, the first person to get 3 points wins. Surprisingly when they started to play that Harold and Abby were at a draw but Abby won in the last moment. 

Abby got to choose who was in her team, so she started picking. Both of them took turns on which one was picking, in the end there was only me and another person. It was now Abby's turn on picking, she picked the other person and then Harold picked me. Once all of the teams were settled we went to different sides of the court. We were waiting for the coach to blow his whistle, while I gave a silent prayer to the Lord to help with this because I'm not athletic, I mean I was when I was a kid but that was then. I was interrupted in my thoughts by the coach blowing his whistle signalling that we can start now.

That was when hell broke loose. People started throwing balls around. It was a battlefield everyone was acting crazy. Balls were being thrown left and right and people were getting hit without mercy. I quickly got a ball and threw it at another person, I evaded balls left and right. There were still balls at the floor so without a second thought I grabbed two balls and threw them at two other people. People from the other team were trying to hit me but I was running too fast for them to hit me. While I was running I kept getting balls and throwing them at the other team. As I was getting another ball for me to hit them with three balls came right at me. I dodged the ball that was heading to my head by turning my body sidewards only escaping it by a millimetre, the next ball was aimed at my ankle so I slid past it, while the last ball was headed for my left arm. 

I moved my arm to the middle of my body and while nobody was expecting it I threw the ball that I got at the other team and just so happened to hit Abby. I looked around me and saw that I was the only left on my team while on the other team there were only two people left. It was like a standoff. Without wasting another second I grabbed a ball and threw it at the other person and that person tried to dodge it but he wasn't fast enough and he got hit. As I was getting the another ball I accidentally let my guard down and I got hit. The other team erupted in cheers while all of the people in my team just congratulated them/ In the end everyone was in good spirits even Harold. 

The coach blew his whistle and told us to change back to our clothes and go to our next periods. We all did and just went on with our day.
