Partner Reassignment Chpt52

"So let me get this straight...You....Park Jimin shot your partner" Hobi began.

"Yes...right in the chest" Jimin responded with a mutual tone.

"On purpose" Hobi inquired.

"Yes...on purpose...twice" Jimin reciprocated mildly.

The two were instructed to wait in the emergency lobby while Kyrstal was in surgery. The evening was torturous, Krystal was checked into a hospital moments after she was shot. Much to the agents dismay the woman had survived the vicious attack and received medical attention before bleeding to death. Jimin reluctantly reported the inexpedient incident to his higher up and the frantic red head agreed to meet Jimin at the hospital.

Oddly enough Jimin maintained a tranquil demeanor while Hobi paced the hospital floors like a mad man. Hobi was more of a nervous wreck than he was. Mr. Jung exhaled dramatically "So, what exactly was your next great bright idea Mr. Park?" he questioned and Jimin shrugged "I'm most likely going to need a new partner" he causally responded.

Hobi shook his head at the indecent request "I wont allow such a thing Mr. Park!!!" he gasped dramatically  and Jimin huffed "Well, if you haven't noticed, my new partner isn't much help to me" Chim said with his voice dripping with sarcasm.

"Rather you enjoyed Krystal's company or not, she is still your assigned partner. She will be in your care while she is recovering" he confirmed. Jimin gasped "What?!!! I told you everything that happened, I didn't have a choice" Jimin loathed that woman and anytime spent in her presence would be detrimental. Jimin was quick to justify his actions but left out his and Yoongi's relationship status. Jimin purposely excluded that vital information.

"Well, you have a choice to make amends with her now..so I suggest you come up with a sincere apology, it's the least you could do since you put her here" Hoseok threatened.

A male nurse stepped into their conversation "Hello, if you two are here to see Krystal she is stable now" the man stated. He smiled behind his mask "The surgery was a success. The bullets thankfully missed her heart by centimeters, she really dodged a bullet there" he stated.  Jimin rose his hand "I assure you, she did not dodge any bullets...I kind of made sure of that" Chim chuckled and the two gasped, their expressions were grisly. "Was that too soon?...Because I was kidding" Jimin laughed to himself and the other two looked away.

Hobi checked his watch "I need to leave Jimin. I advise you to be nice to your partner, you guys are going to be spending plenty of time together. Isn't that right Mr.Park" he confronted the little prince and Jimin unwillingly agreed with a nod. Jimin followed the nurse to Kyrstal's room. The woman was attached to a large variety of machines. Once he entered he slowly shut the door behind him. He meekly waved to the sedated beast.

"Hello Krystal"

"Jimin?"

The woman questioned weekly. Her speech was slurred from the heavy pain medication but communication was still operable....how unfortunate for the little prince.

"I'll be taking care of you while your recovering in your house" Jimin didn't bother to hide the discomfort in his voice "Is that all you have to say to me?" she was obviously waiting for a genuine apology.

"Honestly I came here to ask you questions" Jimin began and the woman rested her head comfortably against the pillow "You think you have the right to interrogate me after you shot me twice?" she chuckled dryly "You fags really are crazy."

That word had already started to test his patience "Krystal...why were you spying on me and Yoongi?"

The woman grinned "Isn't it obvious Jimin?" she asked weekly and Jimin waited patiently for a proper explanation "I'm going to use those pictures to expose your sick relationship to everyone. It's disgusting how everyone is praising you for your bravery and hard work while you're just getting paid to fuck your boyfriend, they have no idea that your success on this case is based on the fact that your fucking the prime suspect" she giggled dryly. Jimin's eyes narrowed at the woman "Why are you doing this?!"

"Because...You don't deserve the praise nor recognition and you don't deserve this case....I'm going make sure everyone realizes just how much of shitty agent you really are " It was evident that the medication was starting to take hold of the woman's strength "The second I step foot back into the office everyone will know and I will be reassigned to the case and you will loose your job" she grinned mischievously "Now, leave my room so I can rest."

This was going to be one hell of a week.
