After dinner, Reyna stormed over to me.
She said, angrily; "Octavian wants to see you."
"Why?" I asked her in reply.
Reyna just stormed off again, without saying a word.
Percy looked troubled, as if he'd seen Reyna that angry before.
I sighed, and trudged down to the augury, reluctantly.
Octavian was waiting oustside.
He smirked, and said; "Ah! Seaweed Brain's sister."
He led me inside, and sat down on the floor.
I kept one hand on my sword, in case he tried to attack me.
Instead, he grabbed a small, stuffed pig and ripped open its belly.
He studied them closely, and asked; "You have a natural gift with animals, right?"
I nodded, prepared to draw my sword.
Octavian noticed my hand on my sword, and laughed.
"Oh, Daughter of Poseidon, I'm not going to attack you." he said.
"Then why did you call me here?'' I asked.
"I need your help, with the unicorns. They won't obey me, or your brother. he said as he turned away.
I was shocked, the unicorns wouldn't obey Percy. Why would they obey me?
Octavian continued; "There is a prophecy for you, it should happen in camp."
"And why should I trust you?"
"Because.... you are a graecus. A traitor. Prove me wrong."
I asked him; "What's the prophecy? And.Don't.Lie.To.Me."
He recited these lines:
Horses of gold and silver,
Can not be tamed with a quiver.
A daughter of the water,
shall prove her worth or suffer.
Animals out of water,
shall be the gift from her father.
I gasped. It sounded like me.
Suddenly, Octavian snarled, and drew his pilum.
I uncapped Phikeia, my ballpoint pen like Percy's.
He charged.
I deflected his strike of the hilt of my sword, and slashed.
Octavian was cut under his left eye, but he tried to stab me in the chest.
I parried, and lunged for his throat.
By the end of my blade, Octavian retched on the floor.
"Had enough?'' I asked him
He nodded.
"I'll help the unicorns. not you." I growled as I left the augury.
I ran down to the Little Tiber, and jumped in.
