Marinette pulls her hair out of her basic two pigtails she wears daily and brushes out the tangles in her midnight black hair. She was going to do a high bun but wasn't sure so she asked tiki what was the best look on her.

"Tiki what hairstyle should do for my date with Adrien?"

"Leave your hair down it looks lovely like that Marinette." Marinette usually doesn't wear her hair down but she took tiki's words and decided to leave it down so she straightens it so it looks neat. She didn't want to look like a freak when on her first date with Adrien. Marinette's dream of this date with Adrien ever since he first came to her school, she didn't want anything to ruin her date with him. After her hair was done she put on her red dress she made her inspiration came from a dress she and Alya saw in a small boutique last week. This dress was perfect for her date and she only hopes Adrien will agree. the doorbell goes off announcing Adrien was here, she slips into black flats and grab her clutch and runs downstairs to answer before her parents do but she wasn't fast enough because her papa answers it first.

"Aw, Adrien it's nice to see you again." Mr. Dupain-Cheng says to the young blonde boy who was nervous about his first date with Marinette. Adrien's been crushing on Marinette for awhile now and he wanted tonight to be perfect.

"Hello Mr. Dupain-Cheng it's nice to see you too," he smiles.

"Well, you take care of my daughter tonight. NO funny business okay," He warns him.

"Papa...," Marinette groans leaving embarrassed by her dad. Her take the hint and leaves them alone but keeps a close listen in the next room.

"Wow, you look absolutely beautiful Marinette," Adrien couldn't help but stare at her she literally took his breath away.

"Thank you, Adrien, you too, I mean you look handsome," she mentally tells herself to calm down and try to embarrass herself further.

"Thanks, Mari." Adrien takes her hand and leads her to his town car, Marinette could help but smile as he does so. The car ride was quiet but not awkwardly quiet but rather peaceful. When they reached their destination Marinette noticed that they were in front of her favorite restaurant and was confused because they are never open on Sunday night.

"Adrien how you get them to open tonight?" She asked when getting out the car.

"Well, today was the only day both of us were free because of our tight schedules so I ask my dad to pull a few strings and he did. I wanted tonight to be perfect." She smiles and giving him a hug.

"Thank you Adrien, and tell your dad thanks too," she says during their embrace.

"No problem M'lady." The host greets them and takes them to their table. After the two of them order, they made small talk until the food arrived.

"I have to say I really love your hair down and that dress, red suits you."

"Thank you, I actually made the dress myself," Marinette says proudly.

"You have a real talent, Mari." Marinette blushes and looks down at her dinner and Adrien takes her hand in his. "I never thanked you for that beanie you gave me two months but I really love it. You are going to be one the best fashion designer's someday princess." Marinette's heart flutters after Adrien's compliment.

"You really think so."

"I don't think it, I know it." He smiles looking her into her blue bell eyes. "Let's get out here I have something to show you." Adrien put's a 100 dollar bill down and grabs Marinette's hand leading her out of the restaurant. They start walking and Marinette was beyond confused where Adrien was taking her.

"Adrien where are going?"

"Hold princess where are almost there." Marinette smiles at the fact Adrien called her princess more than once tonight. "Here we are." Marinette looks in front of her and notices there is a tree and looks to see a treehouse.

"Whose's treehouse is this Adrien?" Marinette didn't recall Adrien saying he had a treehouse.

"It's Nino's he said I could use it tonight, cmon I have something for you," he climbs up and Marinette follows him up the steps. the treehouse is filled with 4 bean bag chairs and a big box in in the back.

"What did you want to show me, Adrien?" Adrien walks over to the big box and rummages throw it to find his gift for Marinette.

"Here you go princess," he says handing the present to her. marinette grins and opens it immediately she has mixed emotions when she opens it. it was a badly stitched hat that made her want to laugh and cry. She wanted to laugh because of the stitching and wanted to cry because Adrien tried his best to make it regardless she loved it.

"I know it's not the best but I really wanted you to know that I really care about you and loved everything you made me so I made something for you."

"It's perfect." she smiles and puts it on her head. "Thank you." Marinette leans in to kiss Adrien's lips. they were both nervous about it but also wanted to kiss each other badly. They're lips touch and a spark ignited between them. He touches her face bringing her closer to deepen the kiss. after they pulled away Adrien smiles while Marinette was weak in the knees.

"Wow," they both spoke and blushed afterward. The stayed in the treehouse a little longer cuddling up in one of the bean bags until it was time to take Marinette home.

"I had a really nice time Adrien."

"I did too," Adrien leans in to give her one last kiss.

"Goodnight Adrien."

"Goodnight m'lady."
