Chapter 4

"That slimy mutt!" Grendel snapped punching a nearby wall causing Snow and the rest of the group to jump. She just continued down the hallway.

"That lying son of a bitch!" Grendel continued to cause an uproar as Snow tried to calm him down.

You watched Holly in front of you.

Not making a sound as she had enough of Grendel's shouting, she turned around and gave look of death at him and the rest of the group.
"Shut it Grendel. Bitching about it and trying to tear the whole fucking place down won't change the fact that we won't be getting Lily's body." She growled as her makeup was in such a ugly mess due to the tears that were silently streaming down her face.
'He just only cares about her, Holly.' You thought to yourself.
Grendel looked pissed off by Holly's answer. Snow looked over at you and gave you a small smile before all of you caught back with Holly.
"Holly." You spoke as she ignored you and continued down on the sidewalk heading back to the place to where the funeral will be held.
"Holly!" You spoke louder as Grendel gave you a look telling you to shut up. You glared at him and quickened your pace towards Holly, soon you were walking beside her she glared at you then looked straight.
"Holly, listen-"
"No you listen, missy." She hissed. Stopping dead in her tracks and looking down at you with a ugly mad expression like when a baby ate a lemon.

"Don't act like you care because you don't. If it wasn't for Bigby making Snow babysit you, you would be following him around like a lost puppy and not give a damn care in the world. I think it would be best if you stayed the fuck away from me now."

Those sentences (in bold) made a tear slip out of your eye and down the right cheek before Holly turned and continued walking. Leaving you standing there head down as Grendel patted you on the shoulder and walked past you.

'Her words hold no meaning and no hatred of any kind towards you. They are just full of reckless fury.'

A unfamiliar, calming yet cold sudden voice said in your head which made you whip your head look at Snow in shock and confusion. She walked up to you and placed a hand on your shoulder in sympathy for what Holly said and removed it, as you and her continued to follow Holly and the others to the funeral location.

On your way to you location, you were still wondering who said in your head that was.

(Time Skip!)

"I didn't know Lily. But if she is anything like her sister Holly. She was a good person. Misunderstood and sometimes not so easy to get along with...But a good, kind and honest person." You finished the last part of your speech before returning to your seat.
You locked eyes with Holly. She gave you a appreciative smile before returning back to a frown as Snow patted you on the back before returning to your seat. Snow then walked up to the front then began her speech.

While she saw giving her speech you felt more relaxed and more at ease noticing that she ,like you, was also nervous on giving a speech on something that she did not know. You turned around and see Prince Lawrence sitting far away from where the funeral was taking place. Then out of the corner of your eye, next to him you see a figure.
As the figure went closer and closer you instantly recognised the person or Fable.

It was Bigby.

He stood a good distance away like Lawrence and watched. He caught your gaze and gave you a half hearted smile before it faded as soon as he looked ahead at Snow. You turned to look back at Snow only to notice that Holly was watching your actions, Snow looked behind her as well and glared at Bigby.
"Oh no." You whispered as you watch Holly stand up and make her way towards Bigby.
