"Hey, look, there's the new girl", your friend said, making you look up at the girl that was slowly coming down the steps.
You couldn't help but to stare at her, taking note of how her soft, dark hair bounced with every step, and her kind yet mischievous eyes. You didn't even notice that you were holding your breath until you let out a quiet, "Wow."
Kira threw you a small smile when she passed, and, right then and there, you knew.
