Firey's POV:

I heard a loud WHAM! Behind me, I turned around and saw Leafy on the floor her head had a dark red patch with red liquid flowing down her forehead to her red cheeks.... Blood...
it was blood...
Whenever I see blood ANYTIME ANYWHERE, I get really scared and start to panic, but this time I decided to take the panic attack aside and pick Leafy up bridal style and headed straight to hospital. She was pretty light so it wasn't that hard to take her to Hospital and when I went into the hospital Leafy was taken away... from me.

*time pass*

I sat waiting on the seats playing on my phone, then the nurse finally came out. I snatched my phone and kept it firmly in my hands. "She'll be ok, but she needs to stay for a few days. She'll have a few bruises but she'll be as fine as pen." (Pun intended)
"Oh, ok..." I was allowed to go in, so I did. I sat next to the chair looking at Leafy's lifeless body. Me and her were the only ones in the room so I started talking to her.
"Leafy... you know you mean a lot to me... right?"
I sighed
"I've lost my Grandfather. I don't want to lose you... because you're the only one I can live with, grandpa's gone, I wouldn't want you to go with him... you matter to me a lot. Without you, I wonder how I'll live..."

"God knows where I'll be right now, if you weren't here in the first place."
I took a deep breath and decided to say the words...
"I-I love you like you never knew, I'm jealous that you like a damn farmer. I hate Tony because you love him."
"Leafy, I see you as a sweet, not sour. Someone I know who has never experienced true love, siblings and parents who actually care. I know you have a gentle, thoughtful heart. Since the first day I laid my eyes on you, wanting someone to love... I have never felt such a sweetness in my bitter life. You changed me... my life... and everything about me. You showed me that from the Evergreen Family, it is possible to have someone in that hatred family... you proved the others wrong. You did..." I tried thinking of more words but I couldn't. "I..."

"That's... cute..." I head Leafy's voice. I looked up and saw Leafy grinning at me. "L-Leafy!" I hugged her, trying not to harm her
"Firey"she said
"Yeah?" I replied breaking the hug apart
"I love you too." I felt my cheeks go warmer, has the room temperature gone higher?
"Firey... remember.." she started
"Yeah?"
"That I will always be...

Here for you." And I got attacked by a pair of soft lips on mine. I kissed back passionately.

(Ima add a sad ending below here coz I can read at your own risk! Also, the original story does NOT result in Leafy dying. She recovers and they have a family, this is just an alternate ending. Coz I'm mean.)
Still Firey's POV:
Leafy then looked at me, breaking the kiss.
What's happening right now?
She placed her hand next to my cheek.
Leafy?
"Firey... I love... you" she says trying to spit more words out...
No, don't leave me.
Her eyes slowly close.
No no no no no.
"Live... for me... ok...?" Those were her last words...
NO, LEAFY!
I couldn't talk... I could only stare in pain.
Leafy's hand falls on the bed. She stops breathing...
She's gone, she left me.
I stared for a good few minutes, and screamed.
She did not just leave me. She didn't... no she couldn't have.
I screamed until my voice was raw.
I kept screaming even when they told me to stop.
I ran home and cried hard in my bed. All I wanted right now is Leafy, the one I adore. I told her everything and she had To leave me...
No this must be a nightmare
What if... what if I join her? No she wouldn't like that. She told me to live for her...

But how? Without her I can't live...

I need her.
