her name is Imogen sorry if its misspelled though out it.
The time had come. The evil Lord Orgon had been in power long enough. The King of Challum was ready to invade, and he had a plan, however he could not use an army to fulfill it. He called all the peoples of his kingdom together to select the perfect men for his quest. every man and boy that entered the city could only dream off what the adventur held, for the King swore he would only tell the selected.
Orgon had once been the right hand of the King. However in his greed he tried to overthrow the King. The King wished to make a peaceful compromise with Orgon. Orgon refused and was exiled to a small portion of land. In this land he was banshied till death. However Orgon traformed it onto his own relim, and welcomed all who wanted excitement. throngs of people came and once you are inside of Orgon's kingdom it is difficult to get out. Many of the people that went in of their own accord became his slaves and warriors. The King warned Orgon that one day he would declare war, and he will die, as he rightly deserved for his tyranny.
Our story is about a child. A servant girl in the King's courts, whom the King saw a person full of potential. Her name was Imogen. She was a hard working joyous girl, with dark brown hair, fair skin, and chocolate brown eyes. She was tall and there for somewhat clumsy at times.
She was on an errand to gather more food for the grand feast the King had planned, to welcome all the warriors that were arriving. The true reason she asked to go; so she could cautch a glimps of the last few warriors fall in. While she was buying the last of her things, in came a caravan of brightly clad that walked straight and tall, as though they were as mighty as an army. They were taller than an average man; they all wore green cloaks, green as the summer leaves. Their skin was fairer than most and seemed to glow, as did their eyes which were brighter blue than the morning sky. Their hair was dark as the midnight sky and the points of their ears poked out from under their hair. Their ears were more pointy than any mans she had ever seen. "Who are they?" thought Imogen.
"They're Saters." Said the merchant, reading Imogen's puzzled look. "They ain't human at all. They're some other species, able to live forever and not age, grow much taller than any normal man, and they meddle in magical maders that any mortal man could only dream of."
"Like what?" Imogen asked intrigued. The merchant had her hooked she had to know more, she loved to learn of things about the outside world, far away from her city gates. Unlike other girls her age who were busy learning how to take care of a household and how to be a good wife, she read books and listened to the merchants chatter about amazing things from faraway places. She might have needed the skills that other girls were learning though because at the age of seventeen you were eligible to be married. "Don't ya need to be getting back to the castle," answered the merchant. Imogen hung her head and nodded. So, with a muffled thump she swung the small bag of supplies over her shoulder and ran up the hill to the castle.
Later, in the dining room where the great feast was taking place there was a blend of Men, Ezben, and Sater's all having a good time. All the Saters sat to gather at the east side of the dining room where Imogen did most of her serving. She wanted to learn more about the whimsical creatures and so she listened in to their conversations trying to glean any information that she could. When she went back to the kitchen to get a new tray of food, her friend Layna gabbed about how handsome one Ezben was. She talked and talked about how charming, handsome, and funny he was. Imogen was only half listening the whole time. Layna was always like this because she was easily enthralled by men. Imogen was more interested in the Saters who were even whimsical while they were eating. However Layna forced Imogen to come see the boy she constantly talked about. Ezbens where different than humans, but looked like ordinary men to Imogen. They had light brown hair, dark eyes, and were generally more built then the slender Saters. Layna pointed out the Ezben with her eyes. He looked to be about their age but the thing that stuck out the most about him was a scar that went all the way up his arm. When he noticed them looking at him he lifted his fist high in the air and a huge flame shot out of his fist. All the boys around him laughed but an older gentleman yelled at them saying: "the king is gracious enough to open his home to you and yet you repay him by burning his house down!?!" Ignoring the gentleman the Ezben that created the flame waved at Layna and Imogen. Layna flirtatiously waved back. Imogen rolled her eyes and walked away. She thought flirting was stupid.
