Problems (Modern Hamilton AU)

Chapter 1

George's P.O.V:

Martha and I have always hoped today would come! We have always been glad to be in the system. We are in a system called foster care but my wife brought it in her heart that she wanted to help different children. These children could have many problems but we were up to the task. I know my dearest Martha is, she has always been good with kids.

We have been signing papers for what seems like years and today we could finally take three kids in. We were off to the airport since the foster care systems building was hours from here. I looked over at her then back to the road. "We are here honey" I tried to calm her. She was already tearing up from excitement.

We have always wanted kids since she got pregnant but had a miscarriage. Ever since the miscarriage we had been signing all the papers legalizing our right to adopt. We were both a little scared when we heard they were teenagers but were relieved that we could finally do this. I grabbed her hand in mine. She looked at me and smiled giving me a kiss on the cheek. Once we parked I opened her door and helped her out.

I looked at my watch we still had 20 minutes until the plane took off to Phoenicia. I grabbed her arm and sprinted in. There could not be enough stress in one day. We grabbed our tickets and headed into the plane. We had a few things with us but since we are going to be home by 11:00 we shouldn't need anymore than just money.

Johns P.O.V:

I'm so nervous and excited at the same time. I can finally leave this place that I get bullied at all the time. I didn't realize how heavy I was breathing until the lady at the front ran to me and grabbed my arms.

"Breathe john" she said with a little laugh. I laughed with her. I am going to miss her though, she was an amazing friend to me. She was my only friend actually. Just then I saw two people walk in. I was so startled I ran to another room.

"Hello you must be Mr. and Mrs. Washington" I watched as the three chatted about me and.... other kids? Was I going to have siblings? I can't have siblings! That's too scary!! Just then a taller boy pushed me knocking me over.

"Move it pipsqueak" that was Alexander. He was the meanest boy here. Everyone was afraid of him. I least I don't have to see him anymore. Just then Debby, the lady in the front, walked away with the two adults. Alexander walked off to another room. I was always afraid of him. He would always push me and shove me.

Once he got in trouble for punching a kid in the gut and for pushing a girl causing her to break a bone. Nobody could control him except one care taker named Mrs. Lindsey. I don't know her but alex always trusted her.

After hours of sitting in my bed and drawing Mrs.Debby came to get me. I grabbed everything I owned and followed her to the front. There I could see Alexander and another kid talking to the two people. They looked happy. Wait. Was I going to have to live under the same roof as alex?

The man talking to alex looked up at me. "Hello! You must be john" Alexander turned around and was in shock. I walked to the man and shook his hand.

We talked for hours until it was time for us to go home with them. George and Martha told us we would have to board a plane which scared me a bit but I knew I'd be fine. I've been on a plane before but never with another family. Once we reached the airport Mrs. Debby dropped us off since George and Martha didn't have their car. I said goodbye to her and she gave me her number so we could still talk since she was my best friend.

All of us headed on the plane back to New York City were the couple lived.

The story will get cuter i promise guys. But for this chapter it's boring.... ok bye...
