I turned to my best friend Riley.
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" I questioned
Riley being Riley responded with,
"Nope! But we're gonna do it anyway"
I continued to strap myself into the harness, and once I was done I turned to Riley to see if she was done but started laughing when I saw what had happened. Her head was in the arm hole and her leg was in the head part. Somehow she had gotten a cord wrapped around herself as well.
"Stop laughing and HELP ME!!" She demanded
It took us another twenty minutes for us to get it off and on her correctly.
I looked down at my attire. I hadn't known what we were doing so I was wearing a crop top that said 'you wish bish' (A/N Can I have that?) Sandles and ripped shorts. I sighed and sat down. I started to trace the tattoo of my brothers name, Tyler I had gotten earlier in the day.
FLASHBACK
"Mom? Where is he?!"My vision began to blur from my tears.
When she didn't answer I threw the vase of flowers that were on the bedside table onto the floor and ran out the hospital room. I ran around the hospital halls until my legs tired yet I still continued to run. I could see someone running towards me but I didn't care. I slowly sank to the floor as sobs began to take over my body. Every good memory ran through my mind up until the day they told me he had Leukemia. I felt my dad's arms wrap around me. I sank into his chest and soaked his shirt
"I'm so sorry pumpkin. The cancer won Piper. I'm so sorry"
END OF FLASHBACK
A year later my dad purposely overdosed on my anti depressants. I had stopped taking them way before he took them.
"Piper? Come on! It's almost time to go!" I heard Riley yell
3 years... I thought to myself I was only 15...
I shook my head and got up and allowed the professional, Andy to strap us together. I turned my head to look at Riley and smiled.
Andy opened up the door and asked
"You girls ready?"
While I responded with a 'sure' Riley responded with a 'fuck no but let's go!'
Andy chuckled and gave us the go ahead.
Riley grabbed my hand and we jumped.
"Happy 18th Piper!" Riley yelled.
I laughed as I quickly reached up and pulled the line. Once our parachute flew up I tried to turn around and look at it but my head was at an awkward angle.
"Land ho! I yelled as the ground came closer.
Once on the ground I unclipped from Riley and looked at the parachute.
'I love you Piper'
RILEYS POV
come on Riley just do it! I yelled at myself in my head
As Piper turned around I put my hand on her cheek and slowly leaned in. When she didn't pull away I leaned closer and attached my lips to hers. I was surprised when she kissed back.
When we pulled apart Piper let out a slight giggle
"I love you too dork."
Then she attached our lips once again.

This is less of a one shot and more of a short story. I'm also kinda happy cause it's 530 words excluding this note. Yay me.
