2. You can never be too complacent that what is yours will always be yours.

"You know, I always dreamt of having a son, someone who looks almost the same as me," Kongpob said as he picked up a child's toy, smiling.

Something inside me breaks apart, hearing this from him. Not because he said it, but because I know that whatever we do, how many times we make love, I just can't bear a child, I can't just give him what he truly dreams of.
