Rues story

"What?" Rue asked. Y/n rubbed the sides of her head, "I had another dream, this time it was just you and the last Jagā'' she looked at him, "He was kinda a dick, he just kept talking about him wanting control over something?" Rue nodded slowly, "He...wanted to try and rise above it all during the war so that when it was over, his life would be stable and forever remembered...." Y/n tilted her head, "How would that have worked? we can't exactly tell anyone who we are"

The little black shrugged, "He never told me. Ladybug killed him before he told me." Y/n laid back with a sigh, "You both really didn't like Ladybug huh? what did he even do?" Rue hesitated a moment before finally opening up, "It was the rivalry between them...it caused both of them to just....snap in the end..." she starred at him, "You blame him for his death, don't you?" Rue was silent.

Y/n continued, "You blame Ladybug for being the cause of Jagās actions" Rues tail curled around his body, "I know that's not how I'm supposed to think....I just....didn't want to believe that my kittens could do anything like that you know....I wanted to blame someone else for his actions...." he held his tail. The truth was finally told and everything that was held was finally let go, "Both lady and chats Kawami think of me as this animal who thinks of nothing but my legacy ...." Y/n cupped him in her hands, "I stopped caring about my legacy when the revolution started....I just wanted my kitten to live and stay out of that...."

Y/n listened to him, her own hands shook, "What...happened to you after his execution?" She asked softly. The topic was very sensitive, especially now, "Back then...he wore a ring...that is where I would go when he transformed....right before the blade hit his neck, he slipped the ring off....nobody noticed it when it fell, except for this women....I couldn't remember what she looked like but she had tears in her eyes..." he closed his eyes, remembering it all, "She took the ring and tucked it away for who knows how long because not long ago, an old man had taken possession of it. How he turned the ring into a necklace is beyond me...."

Rues small body shook lightly, "He dropped it off in an ally and that's how we met" he looked up at her, "It was one of the greatest things to happen to me. Of everything I've seen through these years, meeting you was one of the greatest things to happen to me. The greatest was becoming your partner and friend..." he smiled and Y/n smiled threw the tears that began to form, "I love you so much. Promise me you won't....ya know...die?" Y/n laughed, "I don't plan to anytime soon bud....."

(Here's a slightly soft chapter. Fun fact, my "anniversary" just passed. That's right, I joined this site December 25 of last year. Never would I have thought I'd write this or have this many people who actually like my crappy stuff. Thank you to all of you who stuck w me through all my long ass breaks and almost killing your character that one time. Now because I'm interested, tell me what you think about me.
